You'll be responsible for supporting people through the moments that matter during the employee life cycle. You'll be their first point of contact and you'll provide a high quality, customer focused, HR support service whilst always trying to make things better.
Dealing with incoming telephone calls, inboxes, emails, processing a range of operational tasks from the creation of contracts of employment and job change letters to initiating and managing background checks and owning the referencing and probation processes, all in line with our SLAs.
Bring your qualifications & skills:
GCSE standard Maths and English or equivalent
CIPD level 3 qualified or working towards the qualification or experience desirable.
Ability to prioritise effectively under pressure and multitask including strong organisation skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proven ability to make informed decisions and justify rationale.
You've got an eye for detail - typos don't get past you.
Strong, clear and honest communication
Listening to understand and get to the heart of the matter.
Good word, excel and IT skills essential.

The Client:
Our client is a prestigious Asset Management company based in West London who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant.

The Role:

As an Accounts Payable Assistant reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will maintain the financial integrity of the organisation by efficiently processing invoices, payments, and expenses, ensuring the company's financial obligations are met in a timely manner.

This role is pivotal within the UK team and also includes responsibilities for the UK, Ireland, and Asian offices too.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar financial institution is essential

- Experience in purchase ledger (essential)

- Experience with systems such as Concur or similar general ledger and expense management systems (desirable)

- Strong Excel skillsand experience of working in a fast-paced and busy environment

- Ability to adapt to changing technologies

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process

- Processing expense claims (credit card/cash)

- Making UK and international payment runs

- Month-end duties including posting of payment runs and petty cash reconciliations

- Ad hoc duties as required

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator with excellent organisation, time management and communication skills and competence in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.

As the HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator you will support the HR Team in the day to day operations, with opportunities to be involved with and assist in the recruitment process as well as supporting casework.

Working as the HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator you will ensure documents for new hires and resignations are actioned as well as proactively dealing with HR queries. You will be a primary contact for schools.


DUTIES

Your role as HR Assistant / Human Resources Administrator will include:

• Support HR administration across the organisation

• Maintain employee personal files in an orderly, secure and confidential manner, ensuring files are kept up to date and in line with data protection requirements

• Under the direction of the HR Advisor ensure that all data held on the School’s Single Central Register is accurate and up to date

• Be the first point of contact for staff queries about routine HR, payroll and general employment matters, referring more complex issues to the HR Advisor, as appropriate

• To assist the HR team with general administrative tasks as and when required


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

• Experienced in prioritising varied and conflicting work demands and able to work under pressure

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Very competent in the use of ICT and in particular Excel and Word

• Excellent organisation and time management skills
