To support the Management Information Officer manage the Waste Dataflow system and provide detailed analysis and reporting of information which is integral to the business.


Candidates must be experienced in Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel, to undertake the administration of reporting tools and software to extract and integrate information from multiple databases and provide an analysis of information retrieved in relation to statutory performance returns or other sources of management information to enable the effective planning of the future waste strategy.

A knowledge and experience of financial systems, external/internal payments and costing information relating to the delivery of the waste management service, to facilitate timely, accurate and up to date financial reporting in accordance with the Authority’s Financial Regulations and Standing Orders.

Monmouthshire and Torfaen Youth Offending Service, as one of our Business
Support and Information Assistants. You will be responsible for providing a high
quality Business Support service to the whole team. We are a multi agency team so
you will work with colleagues not just within the team but also internal and external

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a Fixed Term post until 4th October 2024 working full-time.

This key position is based in the Student Life Directorate. Key functions of Student Information Assistants are;

Working as a team with the other SIAs in MyUniHub and with other colleagues to deliver a welcoming, positive and supportive front of house operation and to provide support and assistance to the Student Information Officers and MyUniHub Manager as required.

Candidates should have a sound basic education. Equivalent of 5 GCSEs including minimum of Grade ‘C’ in Maths and English. They should also have experience of working in a customer focused environment, ideally in a front of house position and extensive experience of administrative work, ideally with student facing experience and within in a busy and pressurised environment.

This role is wholly campus-based, with time-sharing between Singleton and Bay campuses based on a rota.

This position will be based at the Singleton & Bay Campuses
