Westhoughton High School are looking to appoint with effect from 1st January 2025 an enthusiastic, talented and organised leader who would complement our experienced Design Technology Team, as their Leader of Learning. The successful candidate will be joining a Team who has a firm commitment to supporting and developing every child.

We would love to strengthen our team with someone who will be a passionate and inspirational teacher and leader, and who can uphold our existing high standards and continue to drive the development of the technology curriculum.

Our learning environment has been transformed over recent years and we have recently undertaken a significant building and improvements programme to reflect an increase in student population.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analysing workforce data to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The post holder will enhance workforce information services by developing and maintaining the Trust's use of ESR. Responsibilities include maintaining, planning, developing, and implementing system changes to support Trust and departmental goals.

The successful candidate will ensure ESR is optimised, ensuring accurate and high-quality data, conducting regular audits, and maintaining GDPR compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with various departments to maximize system functionality and align with Trust strategic objectives.
