What you’ll be doing
- You’ll support the maintenance of company records for EDF Renewables companies including maintenance of Blueprint software, Statutory Registers and Companies House records and the timely submission of statutory and ad hoc forms and returns for companies in UK and Ireland (e.g. Confirmation Statements).

- Support the Company Secretary by providing day to day management of company strike offs, liaising with other departments as required.
- Provide support to the Legal team on day-to-day administrative activities including purchase orders and payments, couriering and securing signatures documents, ad hoc projects and governance and internal control initiatives.
- Assist the team with arranging face-to-face meetings, work with the PA to Legal Director to arrange in-person legal team meetings and other office events, and ad hoc assistance such as cover for reception.
- Support the team with the production, presentation and amendment of documents and presentations, ensuring the house style/templates are used.
- Be responsible for making arrangements for new starters (IT, inductions).
- Booking travel and accommodation, arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms.
- Assisting the team with office admin such as printing, scanning and binding.

Your new role
You willbe responsible;

• Undertaking daily banking functions
• Processing client and office accounting transactions,including postings
• Handling BACS, CHAPS, and international payments
• Banking incoming cheques between office and clientaccounts
• Managing card payments, both in person and over thetelephone
• Preparing cheques
• Administering the purchase ledger
• Undertaking daily postings
• Producing accounts reports for Fee Earners
• Assisting with month and year-end processes

What you'll need to succeed
You willhave:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a legalor professional services environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MicrosoftOffice Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday nights 17:00 hours to 07:00 hours; 24 hours cover on Saturday and Sunday, days and night shifts 19:00 hours to 07:00 hours. Average of 40 hours plus overtime per week.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Security Manned Guarding Services.
• Access/Egress Control Duties.
• Regular/Irregular Site Inspection Patrols of the Assignment.
• Performing regular Health and Safety checks.
• Regular and accurate report writing.
• Dealing with First Aid situations as/when they arise.
• Proactive interaction with the client & their staff, visitors to the site as well as contractors; ensuring that superb customer service is always provided.
• Dealing with enquiries and reporting any issues on site.
• Covering all required security related duties as/when required.
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
• Applicants must be aged 18+ with a valid SIA License.
• Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
• Proof of right to work and live in the UK.
• Very smart with an excellent command of the English language.
• Approachable, Diplomatic and Reliable
• Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ – when applicable.
• Flexible and willing to learn new procedures
