My client is a Fire Detection, Fire Alarm and Fire & Security installation and maintenance company seeking a Fire and Security Sales Manager for South of the UK, or a Senior Business Development Manager who can generate £750k+

Excellent Framework agreement in place to deal with Hospital Clients and NHS, but you can bring in work by tendering or developing as you see fit to generate install and service work for CCTV, Intruder, Access Control, and or Fire Alarms.

To work from Office/ Home in Midlands. Will consider competent Fire Alarm systems seller or Fire and Security Sales BDM or Fire or Security Sales Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity not only due to the excellent package, uncapped OTE and excellent offices, but also that the MD is very supportive, and you have an open area for whole of south with no competing sales people, so all for you!.

Job Overview:

Mitie is looking for Distribution security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe working environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for all colleagues, contractors.

You must hold a current SIA licence or valid SIA certificates (licence can be provided) and a full 5-year checkable employment/education history.

SIA licence is favourable but not essential as SIA training can be provided

Main duties:

-To deliver industry leading customer service

-To conduct patrols of the depot

-To provide a visible security contact for colleagues, contractors, and visitors

-Booking in and out of all Vehicles entering and leaving the depot

-Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss

-Liaise with the depot management teams

-To deter theft, whether internal and/or external and other poor working practices

-To respond to any on site incident or request for assistance and assume control until arrival of the Client, Emergency Services or Depot Duty Manager

-To highlight all breaches of security procedures including internal and external crime

-Support with access and egress to and from the site as is required by the systems installed

-Gatehouse duties which will include booking in vehicles and supporting the transport operation (RDC ONLY)

-Must have reasonable level of PC skills

You will be responsible for maintaining systems and records as required.Duties will include key management, processing patients, staff and visitors, managing and responding to all emergency incidents including fire and intruder alarms The candidate will need to demonstrate good communication with clear verbal and written skills.You will also need to be flexible, reliable, and be able to work on a twelve hour shift pattern including nights. When undertaking the role of Security Officer you must be able to show initiative in a customer focussed role whilst adhering to the policies and procedures that ensure a safe environment and compliance with secure standards. We are looking for experienced individuals who hold working knowledge of the security sector and who have worked within the security field for at least one year with a core focus on hospital security. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good up to date knowledge of working security systems.
