ICTS are looking for reliable and technology savvy Security Officers to ensure the security and safety of premises and people amongst the sites of our new Data Centre client in the Slough and Uxbridge area.

You'll be required to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern working 12-hour shifts, encompassing both days and nights.

An experienced Security Officer, you will carry out a range of duties in a modern and fast paced environment, including:

- Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors, and contractors.

- Patrolling the buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems.

- Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.

- De-activating and activating alarms, and unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure that no unauthorised personnel or hazards are on site.

- Fire, security and building systems monitoring, including CCTV.

- Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.

- Responding to customer requests and queries

- Maintaining records including incident reports using computer- and paper-based systems

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need:

- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills

- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security

- Five years' checkable history and references

- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

The following would also be useful, but are not essential:

- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence

- First Aid qualification

- Experience in a similar role

Full training, uniform and health and safety equipment (PPE) are provided.

The rate of pay is £13.20 per hour.

This is a full-time role, contracted at 42 hours per week. You will be working days only on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Your Time at Work

As an Area Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment. Other duties include:

- Fulfil the tasks of an RMC Operator including Security Monitoring - Incident Triage, incident response, forensics, and root cause analysis.
- Monitor security & building systems to ensure all highlighted areas of concern are managed in line with the IBX policies and procedures, including escalation.
- Generate reports, provide security improvement recommendations, and communicate security-related information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on changes to standard operating procedures, protocols, and documentation, including assessment-based findings and propositions for further system security enhancement.
- Work collaboratively with peer RMC Operators, recommending and helping drive improvements in processes and systems where required.
- Operator Duties - including access and egress of persons and vehicles remotely.
- Production of written ensuring compliance to client and company procedures are adhered to.
- CCTV Remote Access - Patrols
- Contribute to the physical protection of Sites.
- Assisting other areas of the Account as and where required .
- Alarm Monitoring - PSIM
- Access control - AMAG Systems

Our Perfect Worker

Our ideal Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.

Purpose of the Job:

• Providing legal advice, support and solutions to the UKI home care brands (The Group)
• Advising on complex legal issues and regulatory requirements (including GDPR)
• Management of disputes and litigation
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks
• Keeping knowledge of legal developments up to date in and increasingly regulated, competitive and complex environment
• The job holder is an officer of the Court and required to conduct himself/herself in accordance with the Solicitors' Code of Conduct and applicable law and is subject to regulation by the Solicitors' Regulation Authority

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing effective and appropriate legal advice and assistance as required by the Group
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
• Supporting a range of standard and bespoke procurement contracts and queries
• Assisting the Group regarding the assessment and management of legal and commercial risk
• Training the Group on legal and regulatory issues (including data protection policies, standards and guidelines)
• Helping to ensure that business is conducted in accordance with relevant law and the Group's internal governance processes

• Providing preliminary advice on disputes and litigation

• Handling drafting of any and all resolutions and filings at Companies House
• Providing ad hoc day to day legal advice on matters involving legal privilege

Person Specification:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with recognised legal UK/Ireland qualification
• In-house legal experience in relevant industry desirable
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts for goods, services and technology/IST, practice of commercial law
• Experienced in advising on legal and commercial options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent technical contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Problem solving - experienced in identifying and analysing key information to make balanced and appropriate decisions
• Ability to manage relationships successfully
• Proven ability to balance and prioritise a large workload in a fast-paced environment
• Technical accuracy and good judgment
