Applications are invited for two Maintenance Assistant posts in the Estates Department.
Working as part of our Maintenance Services team you will be undertaking planned and reactive maintenance work across all of our buildings ensuring that they are maintained in a safe, efficient and functional order.
To be successful in this you will need to demonstrate:
Experience working in a similar environment carrying out minor repairs and working alongside a wider team of varying trades.
Familiarity with basic repairs, plumbing and carpentry tasks
Understand the need for maintenance and be able to follow written instructions for the planned maintenance tasks.
Ideally you hold a JIB Skills Card and are aware of current Health and Safety standards.
Communicating with staff, students and visitors to the College in a courteous, helpful and professional manner at all times
