Under the direction of the Community Services Flight Chief and Deputy Flight Chief, is the Flight focal point for Material Management (Motor Equipment and Facilities).

Serve as Flight level Vehicle Control Officer (VCO) processing and submitting all required documents and data to the Squadron VCO in a timely manner. Oversees vehicle training and licensing for Community Services personnel. Reviews vehicle utilization records for compliance with mileage equalization policies. Prepares and reviews written and oral reports and acts as necessary concerning such matters as vehicle utilization, turn-in, replacement, damage, loss, rotation between users, and accountability. Maintains records and files as they relate to vehicle maintenance and history. Utilizes and maintains Material Handling Equipment (MHE) equipment to include truck mounted snowplows, forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, banding equipment, power and air tools. Maintains a government purchase card for the purpose of purchasing vehicle parts and supplies.

Serve as an alternate facility manager. Process work orders through the 773 CES. Evaluate, plan, and execute facility maintenance repairs. Determines and selects the most appropriate course of action to accomplish each phase of the work in the most productive and cost-effective manner. Ensure that required materials are on hand or obtained prior to initiating work. Work cohesively with the onsite facility providing guidance and technical knowledge when necessary to complete detailed tasks. Assists with property accountability and annual inventories. Coordinate the delivery of assets from vendors to the various Community Services facilities.

Ensures physical safeguards, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained within flight operations. Complies with environmental directives pertaining to handling hazardous materials and hazardous waste.

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART), to develop and implement aircraft maintenance work plans and schedules to ensure the effective and efficient accomplishment of required maintenance and coordination in support of unit operational flight scheduling. Additionally, provides training to reservist in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein.

Duties:
1. Develops maintenance plans for assigned aircraft and associated equipment. Develops preliminary operational schedules (utilization plans) and provides the Operations Group with an estimate of maintenance support capability to meet operational requirements
2. Implements maintenance plans through the development and publication of maintenance schedules to include scheduled and unscheduled repair actions, time-sensitive inspections or modifications, component time change replacement and aircraft or system inspections
3. Responsible for maintaining Data Documentation to include Aircraft Maintenance Historical Documentation, Aircraft Jacket Files, Aircraft Document Reviews. Coordinates the implementation of the Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) Program, to include the application of individual TCTOs
4. Serves as Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) to include the overall responsibilities for the maintenance and reporting of aircraft inventory and status/utilization for all assigned aircraft.
5. Monitors configuration management of the unit aircraft. Provides unit managers the capability to determine the actual versus approved configuration of an aircraft or equipment. Conducts training and skill level progression of assigned Air Force Reserve production schedulers

As a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER, GS-1152-09, you will be responsible for advising, planning and coordinating aircraft maintenance requirements and utilization scheduling between maintenance, operations, and external organizations. Actively participates in the Wing Flying Hour Working Group for planning, scheduling, and execution of the Wing's Flying Hour Allocation process. Verify and reconciles the accuracy of unit flying hour allocations daily with Wing Operations Group and as directed with NGB AVDO and the Flying Hour Analyst. Manages all assigned major commodity areas (Airframe, Engine, Components and Special Projects). Develops, analyzes and evaluates multiple Maintenance Information System(s) (MIS) and various databases reports, charts and graphs to inform senior maintenance management. Actively participates in daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling, and quarterly/yearly planning programs and meetings. Communicate and advise leadership of potential over-utilization conditions. Analyzes and improves repair processes, methods, procedures and standards. Research and determine cause for missed maintenance-related scheduled events and documents findings as required. Develop local procedures to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of engines, support equipment, and develops, writes, and publishes guidance for aircraft document reviews. Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5-day workweek, then a 4-day workweek (eight 9-hour days and one 8-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80-hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.

1. Research, analyze, plan, and initiate job acceptance for programmed/unprogrammed workloads.
2. Manage shop capacity and calculate and establish shop hours based on workload mixture in systems to control input to maintenance.
3. Monitor multiple shop operations, plan and manage actual production start dates, manage assets in-work, and monitor assets in-queue in support of the Squadron Commander/Director.
4. Provide material management support to production operations by ordering parts and material.
