The Role:

- To administrate the existing Manufacturing Execution System (MES) system currently used to plan, optimize and control the complex manufacturing processes within the factory.

- To use various software to convert CAD data files into machine data files required to control the various computer numerical control (CNC) equipment that forms the production line.

- To coordinate the creation and transfer of data files when and to where required in the manufacturing process in line with the production schedule and an ever-evolving range of product designs.

About you:

- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills(Maths & English grade C or above)

- Excel and IT literate

- Great attention to detail

Key responsibilities:
Ability to take ownership of the role
Hands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
Ability to rotor and prioritise your own workload
Operation of mobile plant as required
Greasing and oiling of production plant
Adhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
To deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
Assist with production when required
Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management
Assist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments
Essential qualifications & experience:
Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
Self-motivated
Numerate & literate.
Team working attitude.
Ability to also work alone.
Excellent communication skills.
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
Ability to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
Willingness to undergo further training and development.
Previous labour intensive role
Desirable qualifications & experience:
Experience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous.
A recognised up-skill.

The Company

Our client are specialists within health, beauty and pet care. Due to business expansion, they are now recruiting Warehouse & Production Operatives.

Location: Coalville- LE67

Hours of work

Shift: Monday to Friday; 09:00-17:00

Pay Rates

Ø Monday to Friday rate £10.82 p/h

The Role

• Working with a close team of other operators to maximise line efficiency
• Reacting to line stoppages and resolving them accordingly
• Operate production lines to achieve agreed efficiency targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Take delivery of goods and supplies
• Check for damaged or missing items
• Maintain organised quarantine area for goods from suppliers with quality issues
• Locate and store goods appropriately within the warehouse
• Pick production orders according to the Production Schedule
• Pick off-the-shelf items for orders according to the Production Schedule
• Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment

• Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working in a Warehouse environment

• Previous food experience preferred
