Responsibilities

As Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be responsible for:-

Developing and maintaining the company quality system
Controlling bulk, packaging and finished product status
Assisting in new projects
Maintaining production quality standards
You will monitor production processes for specification compliance and food safety standards
Calibrate production line equipment
Ensure hygiene standards are maintained
GMP auditing, HACCP, food safety and GMP standards training
Environmental monitoring, auditing of paper & pc based production, quality, temperature checks, etc records, making goods in / goods out checks, arranging samples, producing packaging waste reports, improve systems processes and other related duties.
Skills required

To be considered for the role of Quality Assurance Assistant, it is essential that you have:-

Worked in a similar QA position
A strong knowledge of the quality function / department
Excellent communication skills and a knowledge of basic food hygiene.
HACCP & GMP Auditing experience

PERMANENT

The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00 hrs at a rate of £14.60 per hour.

This role includes auditing, monitoring and evaluating internal systems and procedures, whilst supporting the Operations team with technical knowledge, promoting Food Safety standards and customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
* Support every aspect of auditing of our quality system program, including audit planning, implementation, feedback, and re-audit assessments as required
* Identify areas requiring training and ensure they are addressed within given time frame
* Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements
* Carry out verification / competency checks
* Prepare, participate, and present in 3rd party audits
* Conduct pre- and post-audit debriefs with the department managers
* Conduct full trace ability exercises
* Conduct swabbing and sampling against risk assessed schedule
* Effectively analyse data to identify areas of weakness or non-compliance
* Monitor trials and NPD (when applicable) regarding shelf life/quality/ Gas levels

Key Skills Required:

We areseekinga highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate initiatives aimed at enhancing patient experience and safety within Division D. You willbe responsible forimplementing safety protocols, improving patient experience, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. You will work collaboratively with Divisional Quality Governance Team to oversee all aspects of quality governance, within Division D. You will be a fundamental part of the Quality Governance Team for the Division, ensuring that services meet the required level of quality assurance standards within the Trust.

The Quality Coordinator will support the quality team by ensuring the smooth operation of quality processes and procedures. The role involves administrative tasks, coordinating quality activities, and compiling reports to assist in maintaining product and service standards. The individual will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and help identify opportunities for improvement.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Your responsibilities will include:

Administrative Support:

• Provide administrative support to the quality team, including maintaining accurate records, updating databases, and ensuring documentation is up-to-date.
• Assist in preparing materials for quality meetings, including agendas, reports, and presentations.

Coordinating Quality Activities:

• Organise and schedule internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
• Assist in tracking and following up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely completion.
• Help coordinate cross-departmental communication related to quality activities and ensure smooth workflow.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Compile quality data and prepare regular reports for management, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions, ensuring they are easily accessible.
• Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and certifications.
• Control and purchasing of Standards used across the company.

Customer Feedback and Complaints:

• Support the resolution of customer complaints by gathering information and helping to monitor actions taken to resolve issues.
• Maintain logs of customer feedback and complaints, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions are recorded.

Training and Communication:

• Assist in preparing and distributing training materials related to quality processes.
• Support communication efforts to ensure all staff are aware of quality standards and updates to procedures.

Compliance:

• Help monitor compliance with company quality standards and alert the relevant teams to any deviations.

Overall responsibility for delivering the Quality strategy for all Marshall activities across differing Business Lines, focussed primarily on product conformance and service delivery, whilst ensuring adherence to best practice protocols, regulation and compliance, locally and internationally.​

Accountability

Ensure that all services delivered by, and all products supplied by, all Marshall entities comply with the Customer requirements; applicable to engineering, manufacturing and maintenance operational areas under jurisdiction at all times during the conduct of normal operations.

• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment within the organisation.​
