The Senior Quality Control Analyst (Payroll Compliance Assurance) is responsible for guiding and executing complex sample-based testing of Payroll Services processes to ensure payroll systems / processes are compliant with internal policies, regulatory bodies and standards. The role involves identifying potential control weaknesses through sample-based testing, assessing risks, and relaying findings to relevant stakeholders (including Industrial Relations Governance Team and Remediation Team) to facilitate further investigation and remediation. A Senior Analyst is not only involved in identifying issues and assessing risk but also providing strategic guidance and mentoring to Quality Control analyst/s.
Key objectives and accountabilities:
Review and analyse relevant documentation and all relevant data to identify potential risks and control gaps to conduct targeted testing on.
Guide the development of testing methodologies, checklists and criteria to ensure accurate and consistent assessments.
