Our Cloud Site Reliability Engineering) team is looking for an experienced and passionate Engineer to join out Consumer Servicing and Engagement Platform.

As an application level SRE, you'll be an active and leading member of a cloud-focused team of engineers - working on one of the Group's flagship projects to run and maintain a set of products and services on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that will enable the business to realise the next generation of services that form the Bank's future vision.

Accountabilities will include:

• Delivering against GCP and SRE Public Cloud technology roadmaps

• Collaboratively working with other engineering teams to release and evolve enterprise-class solutions, that are reliable and evergreen as cloud technologies continue to mature at a fast-pace.

• Being responsible for the operations of a large set of critical banking services (including 24x7 coverage by participating in on-call rota)

Cloud experience - GCP

• Experience working with a broad set of GCP products (or extensive experience with another Public Cloud platform, such as Azure or AWS)

• A strong understanding of Cloud, Cloud security and Cloud networking

• Be proficient in one or more of the following tooling - Dynatrace, Stackdriver/Cloud Operations Suite, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud logging, Cloud Consumption and RTL viewer.

Effective collaboration & Leadership

• Excellent collaboration skills with a desire to lead and mentor others.

• Leadership experience including line management, team leadership, mentoring and task management.

Automation

• Experience of developing for, or administrating Kubernetes clusters in a production environment

RPS is looking for a Senior Town Planner to join our National Development & Infrastructure Planning Team based in Cardiff or Bristol. The range of work on offer is wide and varied and will provide you with rich experience in town planning. Working alongside a range of multi-disciplinary services within a team of planning experts, you will have the opportunity to assist and deliver on a broad range of planning applications including residential, mixed-use developments, data centres, airports, retail, logistics and major infrastructure projects.

What you will be doing

You will be aiding our strategic planning work, which includes the preparation of representations to Local Plan consultations and developing planning strategies to promote land and development for inclusion in Local Plans.

· Assisting Planning Directors’ in successfully delivering their planning caseload, including preparing Planning Statements and representations to Local Plan consultations

· Developing your written and oral communication techniques

· Directly engaging in our business development initiatives

· Actively guiding our Planners, Assistant Planners, Graduates and Apprentices

· Contributing/ engaging in our Prospects Planning Group

Who we are looking for

· A fully qualified RTPI chartered town planner, with experience in a planning consultancy or local government role

· Aptitude to work to established time frames

· A keen interest in planning, development, and environmental issues

· A good working knowledge of planning policy

· Attention to detail and a proactive mindset

· A strategic thinker and someone who can readily address problems

· A market awareness and a good knowledge of local planning issues
