• Developing and managing small scale continuous improvement projects

• Previous experience in QC testing or wet chemistry testing (all industry background considered)

Job Description

This is a vacant Social Worker post within the Adult Concern Initial Response Team (ACIRT). ACIRT specifically respond to Adult Concern and Adult at-risk referrals for adults aged 16 years and over who are not currently an open case to social services. As such the work undertaken will often proceed to statutory work under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007. This is work that when proceeding to full investigation under this act requires to be conducted by a qualified Social Worker with Council Officer status. Although this is the minimum requirement to undertake ASP work, within the ACIRT team, due to the volume of Adult Concerns and Adult at Risk referrals that workers within the team are responding to and the need to assess these with an element of autonomy, it is preferable that the Council Officer is one with substantial experience. ACIRT act as the lead worker/team until the conclusion of the ASP Initial Case Conference As ACIRT primarily only respond to Adult Concern and Adult at Risk referrals all referrals require to be screened, allocated, prioritised, and responded to immediately. Consideration requires to be given to the level and nature of the risk so that a proactive and effective immediate response is provided to those that require it to ensure their safety and wellbeing. This response is done in partnership with other social services teams and colleagues from other disciplines to promote the health and wellbeing of the individual concerned and ensure that they receive the further assessment and support they require going forward.

Support Worker

Location: Broadmeadows, Symington, KA1 5PU
Salary: £12 per hour + Benefits.
Contract: Full-time positions available *female only

The Courtyard is based within the Broadmeadows Estate, Symington and is home to 11 residents with learning disabilities and a variety of health care needs. Our committed team works closely with our residents to support their health care needs as well as supporting them to live their lives in a way which reflects their individual choices, interests, wishes and aspirations.

Experience in residential care or personal caring experience is preferred, but not essential. Shift patterns are day shift - 8am to 8pm, 10am to 10pm and night shift 8pm to 8am.

Current labour achieving an average of 42 to 45k in normal hours. Higher achievers up to 55k

Medium sized repairs and maintenance specialist looking for plumbers to join their rapidly growing team. All work being completed in private domestic properties with the successful plumbers working mainly in the RH or GU postcodes, depending on where you live.

There are lots of opportunities for growth within this company and they offer a very competitive salary with potential earnings on top of your basic salary. The call out rota is 1 week in 12 at 150 per weekend and OT hourly rate. The current labour average around 40-50k with very little out of hours to reach that. Extensive benefits package.

Beauty Merchandiser – Flexible

Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and updating the stand
Moving parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.
