What does a live-in carer do?
As a professional live-in carer in the South West of England, you’ll provide personalised care that enables clients to stay in their own homes. We offer flexible rota patterns to help you balance work and personal life, and we welcome carers with at least six months of professional experience. You’ll stay with your client during your chosen rota pattern, caring for one person (or sometimes a couple) and following a tailored care plan. Duties include daily activities, personal care, condition management, and household tasks. You’ll typically work an average of 8–10 hours per day, with daily rates based on hours worked.

About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full.

When you'll be working:

9am - 7pm

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support our male client who has an acquired brain injury in their own home and out in the community. This will involve prompting and encouraging our client to take his medication, behavioural support, cooking for him, and driving him to enable him to access the community. Therefore you must hold a full UK drivers licence.

Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
