They are looking for a motivated Internal Sales Representative to strengthen their sales activity and provide excellent customer service. You’ll play a key role in supporting both internal and field-based sales teams, assisting our clients, and helping them develop new business opportunities.

• While experience in the UK Electronics Components industry is advantageous, it’s not essential—the company will provide full product training

What will your role look like?

• Respond to incoming calls, route inquiries, and engage warmly with customers
• Process sales and purchase orders, expediting and tracking orders
• Generate and coordinate quotations and proactively make outbound sales calls
• Support sales development through close collaboration with internal and external sales teams
• Manage and organise client files, coordinate projects, and support follow-up activities using our CRM system
• Assist with project organisation and facilitate communications through Microsoft Teams

Key Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

What will you be doing as Internal Sales:

• Liaising directly with suppliers in the UK and overseas to gain pricing information
• Liaising with customers and other internal departments regarding any issues with customer orders
• Updating customers websites to include the product range
• Analysing spreadsheets, to monitor spend and product trends

We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

• Ideally experience in a similar sales administration, account manager or other business to business sales support or customer service role
• Someone with office based experience and a good phone manner could also be suitable
• Comfortable working with Word, Excel and email
• An upbeat and outgoing character with a strong team focus and the ability to build relationships
• Able to work in a fast paced environment and work under pressure

Your new role
This role reports into the Head of Internal Controls, where you will work alongside the controls team to develop and enhance the internal audit program. This role will include significant exposure to the Group CFO and the Group Finance Leadership Team as well as other critical stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Build strong partnerships and relationships with internal stakeholders and be influential in producing an audit program into the organisation.
• Communicate with senior leadership and the wider finance team to help promote the internal audit plan.
• Concisely report back findings to stakeholders, setting out recommendations for improvement and streamlining.
• Prioritise your own audit agenda, along with assisting with the management of a risk strategy.
• Where appropriate, advise and work on future acquisitions made by the group.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will:

• Have a relevant degree or professional qualification within internal audit, risk or accounting, such as IIA, IRM, ACA.
• A proven track record of implementing and testing controls.
• Experience of working within a large and complex business, whilst communicating with wider stakeholders.
• Have a good understanding of technology and systems
