• Provide individualized support for Supported interns during the internships at the host business for the interns to acquire competitive and marketable skills. This could include:
• Initial training of internship task utilizing systematic instruction techniques
• Develop task analysis when needed to support the intern to learn and perform tasks to required productivity and quality standards.
• Identify and implement training strategies and/or services in coordination with the instructor and host business staff.
• Consult with host business department employees on tools and techniques that support intern learning and success.
• Communicate effectively with the SI Coordinator, other skills trainers, internship department managers /mentors, co-workers, family members, and school and agency personnel as it relates to the intern being trained.

• A year of previous experience working with individuals with disabilities in a workplace setting in the community preferred.
• Training or skills and experience in training/coaching, systematic instruction, job, and task analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively, as a productive team member with the instructor, families, affiliate school and all agency personnel and stakeholders.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills which promote personal relationships with interns, families, host business, Project SEARCH team members, and outside agencies.
• Organizational ability, self-directedness, and initiative when given a variety of responsibilities and assigned tasks.
• Ability to make decisions and problem solve with a team of service providers.

We are currently looking for an Internal Sales Representative to join our friendly team based at Tarmac Agecroft Concrete Plant, Salford, Greater Manchester. This role will support our Minimix Concrete business. As well as Salford this role is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Wigan, Stockport, Warrington as well as Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

As the Internal Sales Representative you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team. The main responsibilities for this role of Internal Sales Representative will include:

• Keeping updated with the product range and developing in-depth knowledge of Tarmac products and services

• Raising and pricing quotations processing to order conversion or query resolutions

• Converting enquiries into orders, working B2B sales calls and emails

• Supporting the distribution department in taking and processing customer orders and liaising with our transport fleet

• Demonstrating an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers

• Prioritising and multitasking daily duties

• Understanding and assessing customer needs – advising of new products

• Representing the company and its core values

• Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers

• Engaging with the customer to better understand requirements

The successful candidate for the role of Internal Sales Representative will demonstrate:

• A clear understanding of the sales cycle

• The ability to adjust commercial approach accurately

• Their ability to up sell and cross sell a variety of products

• Working collaboratively within a team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard

• How they drive sales through gaining market knowledge and be able to target profitable contracts

• Proven ability to balance both the needs of the customer and own business requirements

• Working with customers to provide high value solutions

• That they are driven by commercial targets working to strict budget requirements

• Previous experience using SAP, CRM and Microsoft IT systems

Training will be provided for Products, Procedures and our Computer systems
