The following are the duties of this position at the GS-06. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Provide daily customer service in a help desk environment on accounting and procurement system related requests as well as technical questions as they relate to the systems.
- Ensure requested system changes and updates in the financial systems are made accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with navigating users through various financial systems.
- Route documents to proper approving official.
- Answer questions about how various aspects of the system function.
- Assist with financial system problems and coordinates corrective action as needed.
