Junior Site Engineer - Groundwork and Civil Engineering
Are you a skilled and experienced Junior Site Engineer with a strong background in groundwork and civil works?
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team in Newmarket, working on a challenging and rewarding project involving the groundworks and civils aspects of a new industrial building.
About the Role:
As a Junior Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this project. Your responsibilities will include:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Track and manage resources (materials, tools, and equipment).
- Provide technical assistance to senior team members.
- Document the final construction details (as-built information).
- Contribute to setting out the project and providing engineering support.
- Apply engineering knowledge to solve practical problems on-site.
- Conduct safety checks to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Document and report site observations.
- Ensure a timely and accurate handover of work and quality records
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) is a plus.
