Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Bromley, London School Setting: SEN and SEMH schools

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students with SEN and SEMH challenges. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, assisting with academic tasks and promoting positive behavior and emotional regulation. Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies, working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff. Build positive relationships with students, offering emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is desirable but not essential. Passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards supporting the diverse needs of students.
