We’ll need you to bring your compassion and uniqueness to this role. Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding, from general care right through to specialist dementia care. You’ll assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. You’ll help them make their apartments feel like home. You’ll enjoy their favourite activities with them, like bingo, shopping and live music. You’ll develop strong relationships with the individuals you work with, and their families.

You’ll be respectful of residents’ choices, dignity and independence, always. You’ll also be integral to developing residents Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.

You don’t need experience to become a Care Assistant, just good written and verbal communication, and some IT skills. An NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care is a big advantage.

Job description : Support the registered nurse in implementation of an agreed plan of care with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received. Contribute to the legality and accuracy of the patients care plan/ and or other reports and the effectiveness of the established communication /reporting system over the full 24hrs, Provide support and assistance to registered staff. All team members are responsible for behaving in a manner that does not put themselves, patients, visitors and other team members in danger or at risk in the clinical environment ,To assist in the maintenance of home cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times , To assist the patient to ensure they have the opportunity to meet their individual dietary requirements. Ensuring all patients receive their chosen and correct meals ,To assist and support registered nurses and clerical staff in administrative duties as required , To escort stable patients to and from all home to departments within the hospital

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering our outstanding food and drink offering to our clients and site visitors.

Are you able to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, yet still ensure every step of every administration process is covered from start to finish? The R2A - Healthcare Assistant is fundamental in supporting the patient pathway and enhancing the patients clinical experience, by performing effective pre-operative case management, co-ordination and administration tasks leading up to and including the day of a patents procedure. This is a permanent position, working Monday to Friday Weekly shift hours are varied; 07:30 to 15:30 Early 08:00 to 16:00 / 08:30 to 16:30 / 09:00 to 17:00, depending the need of service
