1. Undertake project work within the team (e.g. business cases, analysing the cost implications of developments) whether to support the objective of the Finance Department or the Directorates. Work with the finance team on corporate projects designed to improve the efficiency of the Trust. Create and develop reports and documents, particularly financial spreadsheets. Propose changes to working practices and procedures and implement procedures set by others. The principal purpose of this job is to support the team to improve the psychological health and wellbeing of people and their families who are being supported within the Haldon Eating Disorder Service and the proposed Assertive Outreach/Intensive Treatment programme which will be led by the Haldon team. This will be achieved in this post through undertaking the following areas of responsibility: 1. Under supervision, contributing to psychological assessment and individual, family or group interventions as appropriate. 2. Under supervision, contribute to the multidisciplinary therapeutic programme on the Haldon and, when operating, the Assertive Outreach programme which will involve travel around Devon and use of virtual platforms for online sessions. 3. Providing support to the Haldon Eating Disorder Senior Leadership Team in terms of developing and undertaking additional audit and research activities. 4. Supporting clinical staff to improve the quality and efficiency of reporting on Clinician Rated Outcome Measures, Patient Rated Outcome Measures and Patient Rated Experience Measures within the The Haldon Eating Disorder Service and Assertive Outreach programme. 5. The post holder will receive regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and with Professional Practice Guidelines set out by HCPC and the British Psychological Society. 6. The post holder will work within professional guidelines and DPT procedures and protocols. 7. The post holder will be supported by qualified psychological professionals, including Clinical Psychologists and by senior colleagues within the specialism. Job responsibilities If you do not hold a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, an equivalent qualification, or the Care Certificate you will need to complete the Care Certificate within 3 months of commencement of the Band 3 post. More detail about the role This is an exciting opportunity to join the Elective Orthopaedic service at the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Hospital as Band 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioner. The Royal Devon University Healthcare Trust is a welcoming Trust, focused on valuing a persons differences and encouraging them to grow and flourish in their role in healthcare. It is set in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK with easy access to the coast and the Dartmoor national park. This 37.5 hour/week permanent position will support the Therapy teams in the assessment, diagnosis & treatment of a specified caseload within the Trauma & Orthopaedic ward and day surgery environment. There will be a clear focus on the early mobilisation and rapid discharge of patients following admission to the hospital. There may also be an opportunity to assist the OT service in the pre-operative assessment of patients. The post holder will work alongside the therapy teams and provide close liaison with family, carers and external agencies to ensure safe and effective transfer of patient therapy from the in-patient setting to home or other services as appropriate. The aim will be to support same day discharge where possible. The post includes regular weekend and bank holidays, long days and commitments across seven days. This role is open to candidates who already hold the Level 5 Assistant Practitioner qualification or who are currently enrolled on the Level 5 Assistant Practitioner training programme. If the successful candidate is currently enrolled on this training programme, they will complete limited duties, reflective of a Rehab Support Worker and be paid at band 3. Your key role will be to provide support and education for patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) and their families/ carers. The post will enable you to work within the existing ILD service supporting patients on the telephone, in clinic and at home and arranging support group meetings. You will ensure the patient and their carers understand the diagnosis pathway and planning and delivery of patient care to address their needs and ensure timely investigations, diagnosis and treatment. • Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

We are looking for candidates who are keen, motivated and are able to work as part of a team.

You will support the teacher in creating opportunities for the children to learn in their own individual ways.
