A fabulous opportunity has arisen on the Senior Leadership Team at Hagley Catholic High School.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Pastoral Care and Personal Development and join a Team of 6 on the current SLT. In this role the successful candidate will be the strategic lead for pastoral care and in doing so will line manage the Heads of Year. In addition they will lead on personal development and be the strategic lead for the Character and Culture (PSHE) curriculum, careers, British Values and enrichment.

This is the perfect opportunity for a middle leader looking to develop and progress their career or a current Assistant Principal looking for a new challenge.

• Maintain a diary, make appointments, and organise meetings on behalf of the Principal.
• Liaise daily with the Principal regarding the events of the day and follow up on any consequential actions.

• Take minutes and act as secretary to various groups and bodies (personnel and staff meetings).
• Provide high quality text processing service for the Principal using computerised equipment.
• Assist Vice Principal(s) and other senior managers with text processing services.
• To manage and ensure the smooth running of the school’s reception.
• Act as line manager for specified staff to include staff cover arrangements, formal staff appraisal and day to day priorities.
• Be a member of the Operations Team.
• Maintain effective and efficient filing systems.
• Answer incoming calls, including those for the Principal when required.
• Receive people arriving for meetings with the Principal.
• Input data and maintain various computerised databases relating to staff and students.

Position: Temporary Admin Assistant Overview:

Our client, a leading organization in their industry, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Temporary Admin Assistant to support the Key Account Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be adept at handling client queries and maintaining meticulous records. The company is based local to Brierley Hill.

The contract will be between 3-6 months with view to potentially go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with clients, addressing their queries and concerns both in writing and verbally.
