This advertisement will show a location of Digital Media Centre in Barnsley as that is where our central team are based. We have two Senior Site Operative positions currently available, these posts are new and are to enhance the service we offer to our academies. The two posts will work flexibly across the academies in North Yorkshire, Leeds and Bradford. A van will be available for journeys during the day.

Purpose of the post:

• To lead and focus on compliance and maintenance across the North Yorkshire cluster of schools
• To provide a comprehensive, customer led, estates and facilities service across multiple academies within the Trust, ensuring the efficient and effective running of all aspects of estates related operations.
• To ensure our Academies premises are maintained to a high standard.
• To ensure the estates team deliver a clean, safe, secure learning and working environment.
• To supervise site operatives regarding day to day duties as required.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and update the estates management system (TRM) across multiple sites, which monitors compliance areas in terms of health and safety and estates management, for example, statutory inspections around fire, legionella, gas safety, etc.
• Support and provide training to users of TRM, ensuring they are equipped to effectively use the system.
• Assist with the implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operations of the Academy sites.
• Make a significant contribution to the development of the Academy sites to continually improve the buildings, sites, grounds to benefit pupils, staff and to enhance teaching and learning functions.
• Contribute to the longer term 5-year cycle of estates management maintenance plans.
• Assist with the inspection and condition of school grounds, buildings, building services and facilities.
• Assist with the co-ordination of specialist contractors and participate in out of hours’ emergency call outs.
• Undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within skills set, for example, fault finding, repairs, minor improvement works across the sites.
• Perform a wide range of the work of other trades as skill level permits.
• Ensure that in carrying out all duties there is a compliance with statutory regulations, current legislation and local codes of practice and policies

This Main Contractor are seeking to recruit an Experienced Estimator to join their established team of professionals, based in their Cambridge office. The successful candidate will be joining one of the largest family run construction business dealing with a diverse range of interesting and challenging projects across multiple sectors.

About the role-

- For this role you will need to be ambitious, self motivated and able to work both independently and within our team of like minded individuals. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and you will need to hold a clean driving license. You need to be a conscientious, organised and a pro-active team player, highly motivated and committed to achieving company targets and always focused on the task in hand.

Responsibilities-

- Producing cost plans from RIBA stage 0 (elementally on historic data) to stage 3 (fully measured and rated). Ideally the ability to price from first principals

- Taking-off from drawings using Autodesk Design Review to produce detailed cost plans and quantity checks on the produced BQs

- Leading the tender enquiry process

- Allocation of elemental BQ items into works packages

- Subcontractor comparisons & identifying scope gaps

Requirements -

- Good organisation skills

- Computer skills - need to be proficient on Microsoft Office packages. Experience with Causeway and Excel estimating software is desired.

- Excellent spoken and written English

• To provide local advice and support necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfill their safety responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the Business.
• To facilitate and coach operational teams on the respective engagement tools, which allow the team to engage effectively with the workforce.
• To carry out relevant H&S assurance activities, providing confidence to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes is being delivered.

To provide specialist advice to all members of the multi-disciplinary team, service users and appropriate others, of changes involving current care plans, patients progress and other relevant matters that pertain to the care of the patient. To work within Trust and COT guidelines and to have a good working knowledge of national and local standards of practice in line with legal and operational requirements. To demonstrate a good understanding of Social Service and Health legislation. To support with day to day planning and delivery of a high quality care. Key skills:

Switched-mode and linear power supplies, ballast and protection circuits.
Bachelor???s Degree (Masters and/or PhD preferred in Electrical Engineering).
Altium PCB CAD.
Timing and frequency control beneficial.
Design of analogue and power electronics.
Transimpedance amplifiers, low-noise oscillators, phase shifters, gain control circuits, PLLs, timing and frequency control are beneficial.

Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse - CRHTT - Cambridge OR Peterborough

Opportunity available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within CRHTT, Based in Peterborough or Cambridge

The team sits within a CRHTT with the role predominantly working within our multidisciplinary team to contribute to our provision of dynamic solution focussed care. In the Crisis Team we value the different perspectives brought by each of our colleagues. We work with service users experiencing an acute episode of mental illness, so it is vital that we work collaboratively to co-develop a plan to support our service users and their families. Experience in mental state examination , risk assessment and care planning to manage crisis situations is essential . You will work with the MDT to plan and deliver interventions and work with other supporting services where appropriate.

The hours for this role are Full Time with shifts being a mix of Long Days and Nights across 7 days

The hourly rate for this role is:

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 20:00: £26
Saturday / Nights: £29
Sunday/Bank Holiday: £32
