My client, a PLC developer based in Peterborough are looking for an experienced QS/SQS to look after one of thier new and exciting schemes starting in Littleport, a scheme of 337 units.
You will be responsible for tendering the development all the way through from site start budget to final account. Responsible for accurate CVR reviews on COINS, placing of orders and general cost control and payments.
This is a Hybrid role, where you will be WFH, onsite or at the HQ in Peterborough

What you will be doing
- You will be working on a new scheme comprised of roughly 300+ units
- Responsible for procurement of some high risk packages and many low risk packages
- Preparing CVR's
- Will be helping to manage an Assistant QS
Requirements
- At least 6+ years experience working within a QS position in the UK
- An excellent approach to work and professional outlook on the construction industry
- Main contractor/developer experience desired but not essential
- RC Frame experience needed
- Strong references
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid commercial acumen
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent (BSc Quantity Surveying preferred)
