An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Coder to join our team at Salford Royal Hospital which is part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for candidates with clinical coding experience across specialties in an acute setting and will hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC) or be working towards and would consider applicants also at a Band 4 level based on experience. The post holder requires excellent communication, organisation skills and to be able to work as part of a team to deliver timely and accurate coded data to meet the Trust's deadlines.
We have the ability to offer remote or hybrid working with the use of a fully electronic patient record and are also flexible with working start and finish time to suit your needs.
The Coding Team is a skilled team with an excellent reputation that ensures complete and accurate coding of Trust activity. We have an in-house Training Team , Audit Team and Coded Data and Standards Assurance Team to support you and help you advance through specialties.

In addition to this we offer flexibility around hours and working patterns. Consideration will be given if you are working towards the National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC) to enter at Band 4 depending upon experience.
