What Will Your Day Look Like?

The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to planned deadlines and within budget. YHA Hartington Hall is a beautiful 17th century manor house with gardens located in the picturesque village of Hartington in the Peak District. The Hall was built by the Bateman family. They were a well-established Norfolk family who settled at Hartington in the 16th century. It has been claimed that Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed at the Hall during the Jacobite rising of 1745.
The property has been ran as a Youth Hostel since 1934, so we were celebrating out 90th anniversary recently.
Accommodation is spread across three buildings and alternative accommodation in warmer months. We also offer all day catering, meeting rooms and events.

What will you be doing as a Reception and Accommodation Manager?
Our reception and accommodation managers are responsible for the reception operation within the hostel and support with a wide range of customer facing duties. They support the management of an operational budget and delivery of KPI’s and have management responsibility for their team.
Your day-to-day duties may include:

leading the team to provide excellent and consistent levels of customer service to all guests and visitors, giving them a great experience of YHA
monitor and control expenditure within the reception function

The management and delivery of a quality customer service is essential.
