We are seeking to appoint a Podiatry Clinical Manager to join our growing Podiatry and AHP team at the University of Salford. We are looking for an experienced HCPC registered podiatrist with a broad range of experience, across all clinical areas.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of podiatrists and have experience in delivery high-quality, evidence based podiatric care and have a comprehensive knowledge of podiatric education. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience.

CHHS is a hugely oversubscribed school and was recently named as one of the UK’s top-performing schools in The Sunday Times, ranking as the 15th non-denominational comprehensive school in Manchester and the North West in the annual Parent Power Survey for 2022 and this year, was awarded ‘Northwest Comprehensive School of the Year 2024’.

Didsbury High School is the most oversubscribed first preference school in Manchester, we are a non-selective, non-denominational school, which opened in September 2019. We currently have students in Years 7 to 11 along with our brand-new sixth form that opened in September 2023 with students now in Year 12 and 13! We currently have almost 1200 students on roll.

The 2023-24 academic year saw Didsbury High Schools first set of GCSE results. 60% of students achieved at least a grade 5 or above in both English and Maths, with the National average being 45%. On top of this, almost 40% of the schools grades were grade 7 or higher. This is particularly impressive considering the range of academically rich subjects that the students were entered for with almost 90% of students being entered for the English Baccalaureate. We could not be prouder of our class of 2024!

Customs Manager

£50,000 to £60,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)

We're looking for a Customs Manager to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team. In this role we'll look to you to manage all customs related activity, making sure all imports and exports by Co-op and Nisa are compliant with regulations. You'll make sure the business is operationally ready to adopt any changes required by future legislative change, and that regulatory measures are always met. You'll lead a team of analysts and administrators in this fast-paced role, sharing your knowledge and successfully delivering priorities across Supply Chain and Logistics.

What you'll do

• Scan for legislative change, that will impact imports and exports as well as customs clearance, interpret it and lead a team to deliver relevant change to accommodate it
• Collaborate with the Co-op Public Affairs, Regulatory and Taxation teams to engage with the UK government agencies to understand and influence policy developments in relation to importing and exporting goods
• Work collaboratively with other business areas to drive any required business or process change due to legislative changes to make sure we remain fully customs-compliant
• Be aware and understand the key customs risks to the Co-op and continuously improve processes
• Look after improvements and management of critical master data to facilitate timely and accurate customs declarations
• Provide technical expertise and thought leadership in customs import and export across Co-op and Nisa
• Coach and develop a team of Customs Analysts whilst establishing a culture of continuous improvements and quality assurance and manage the compliance performance of Co-op and Nisa's customs agents
• Be responsible for Co-op and Nisa as required to make sure imports and exports are compliant

This role would suit people who have

• Relevant experience working in a customs role, with working knowledge and understanding of EU and UK customs legislation, including Northern Ireland
• The ability to build and develop strong relationships with both internal and external partners
• Experience in influencing and challenging partners to deliver change
• Some experience in leading a successful team

Legal Case Manager
From £25,000 plus incentive scheme up to £2,500 after probation, with excellent benefits and progression opportunities (Work Level 6B)
Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours or part time 22.5 hours available
Manchester, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bristol, Sheffield - You'll complete your 3-6-month training at one of our offices, then you'll have the option to work in a hybrid way.

We're looking for case managers to join our Co-op Legal Services probate team. You don't need legal experience for this role, as we'll provide full training to get you up to speed.

In this role, you'll provide legal and administrative support to our customers following a bereavement. We'll look to you to manage each case from beginning to end, discussing the estate of the deceased, and keeping in continuous contact with the customer. You'll make a real difference to customers lives at a time when they need us most, and as a growing business we're passionate about developing our colleagues through our internal career progression framework. If you're looking to explore the route of qualifying through the SQE, this role counts as qualified work experience. So, whether you have a legal background or not, we can offer you the exciting opportunity to build a rewarding legal career with us.

What you'll do

* take ownership of your own caseload and deliver on targets that drive the best outcomes for our customers
* be supported by the latest technologies, including AI, to assist you in the management of files
* work closely with customers (via phone or in writing), taking an empathetic approach given their recent circumstances
* use a case management system to manage your work, making sure it's always accurate and up to date
* engage with third parties, in particular financial institutions, and government bodies
* prepare the forms and documents required to keep cases moving forward and keep track of financial transactions

This role would suit people who have

* a background in either law, recruitment, insurance, finance, or experience with managing cases/claims end-to-end
* IT proficiency with the ability to learn new systems quickly
* excellent customer service skills with the ability to put the customer's interests at the heart of what you do
* great organisational skills; you're able to manage your own workload and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* great verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to speak to clients on the phone
* a keen eye for detail and accuracy
* emotional resilience and the ability to be professional even in difficult situations
