Your new role
In your new role, as a Business Services Manager, you will be responsible for duties including but not limited to:

* Planning and managing the timely and profitable completion of a portfolio of client work which may include year-end and management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns, VAT returns, management accounts, budgets and forecasts for selected clients, liaising with Client Relationship Managers and specialists across the business where required
* Review of assistants/seniors work, providing feedback and coaching
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contacts and colleagues
* Engaging and consulting actively with our specialists, co-ordinating their involvement in advisory work and identifying cross-selling opportunities
* Dealing with ad-hoc client queries, telephone calls and meetings
* Portfolio management duties including client take on, fee preparation and WIP/debt management

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a practice environment. The ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification, be that ICAS or ACCA, and be comfortable managing a large portfolio of clients alongside a team of more junior employees. The Role
As a Contract Procurement Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of work packages from inception through to contract closure.

Day-to-day, you'll manage contract deliverables, supplier progress and performance to ensure effective delivery of contracted requirements.
* Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most cost-effective supply solutions, contractual risk is minimised and bargaining power across the projects and site is maximised.
* Direct, influence and manage all subcontract activities ensuring delivery to schedule and maximise cost saving opportunities whilst minimising risk to safety and quality.

The Role
As a Sub-Contract Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will liaise with and manage subcontractors to ensure key deliverables are met on the Type 31 Project.

Day-to-day, you'll manage subcontractors to ensure they meet cost, schedule and quality criteria.

• Lead subcontractor issue reporting, management, communication and resolution
• Continuous appraisal of subcontract policies, processes and procedures
• Preparation of buy plans for inclusion in company tenders
• Negotiating and award of contracts that ensure optimum value to the company
• Ensure that all subcontractors carry out necessary risk assessments

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth with some hybrid working options.
