As an Equal Opportunity Specialist (Title VI Program Manager), your typical work assignments may include:

• Manages the Civil Rights (Title VI and related) program in the DEA and serves as the technical authority for all external civil rights matters within the agency, Federal regulations, such as DOJ Civil Rights Division guidance.
• Proposes and manages the Title VI program budget and ensures proper use of funds.
• Develops all policies and procedures and equal access as pertain to civil rights including laws and regulations pertaining to racial and gender equity, communities in under-served areas, including persons with disabilities and persons with limited English proficiency, have equal access to relevant DEA mission programs and services.
• Provides civil rights training to staff involved in federally-conducted and/or federally-assisted law enforcement or intelligence activities to ensure that equal access principles result in meaningful access to agency programs, services and activities.
