The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre is focused on providing excellent patient pathways and patient-centred care. We strive to continuously evolve to reflect the technical advances within Radiotherapy. To that end, we have recently completed the replacement of two of our Varian TrueBeams with a Varian ETHOS and a Varian Halcyon at our satellite centre. These units are the first in the NHS for in-bore SGRT and we are scheduled to be the first Centre to implement Hypersight later this year. Surface guided radiotherapy system installation will further improve the accuracy of treatment and present the opportunity for tattoo-less radiotherapy. Our patients benefit from access to two ETHOS units, one Halcyon and four TrueBeams across our two radiotherapy centres. We have three planning CT scanners, an exceptional Brachytherapy service which provides HDR, LDR and Papillon kV contact treatment; as well as an Xstrahl superficial machine. Key to this role will be supporting the development of the stereotactic and adaptive radiotherapy services, integrating them with the wider cancer centre on all geographical sites. Expert leadership and professionalism will be required to drive and support these radiotherapy services. You will work closely with the Lead Radiographers, clinicians and support staff to ensure that patients received high quality care. You will ensure that the specialist commissioned service is maintained, following the national guidelines of preparation, delivery and data collection. This post is offered as a twelve month fixed term contract The Guildford and Waverley Frailty Academy was set up in 2021 by consultant geriatricians who recognised the need for everyone working with and/or caring for older people (whether paid or voluntary) to be trained in identifying frailty and helping people who have frailty to age well. We know that people living in Surrey can expect to enjoy a long life expectancy the average life expectancy is nearly 82 years for men and 85 years for women. In Guildford and Waverley there are more than 30,000 residents over the age of 65 years so it is more important than ever that we support people to age well by identifying frailty and managing frailty effectively. The Frailty Academy has developed a range of successful training opportunities aligned to the NHS Frailty Core Capabilities Framework. The Academy has now secured funding from the United Surrey Talent Fund to deliver an expanded programme of work across the Guildford and Waverley Alliance, including workforce development projects as well as training and education activities. The post holder will manage the planning, development, implementation and assurance of specific projects as part of this wider programme for frailty across the Guildford and Waverley Alliance. They will support the Chair of the Academy and the Frailty Academy Programme Manager in developing and delivering Tiers 1-3 of training aligned to the Frailty Core Capabilities Framework published through Health Education England. Sales Executive / Duty Manager

Guildford FWC | Sales and Business Development | Permanent | Full Time

Up to £26,748.80 per annum depending on experience

40 hours per week

As a Sales Executive at our Guildford FWC, you'll be inspiring, motivational and know how to light up a room. You have the ability to match people to products, based on their personal needs and experience. In addition, you're confident about working towards targets - and you're tenacious about achieving them.

As a Sales Executive / Duty Manager, you will:

• Help one of the nation's strongest health brands keep growing.

• Motivate our customers to improve their health and fitness.

• Identify what people want from their gym membership and deliver the packages that suit their needs.

• Spend time in the local community, creating events and visiting businesses to raise awareness of everything we offer.

• Develop a sales-focused culture throughout our club, encouraging colleagues to help us achieve our sales targets as a team.

• Inspire and encourage the team to work together to achieve our sales targets.

• Act as an account manager to our local corporate agreements.
