The Businesss Manager will have a solid background in accounting and will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting and ensuring a transparent and unimpeachable bookkeeping process. This position requires you to be self-directed, motivated and reliable as you will be administratively overseeing the finances of a growing church. You will require a strong knowledge of financial systems and a proficiency in financial reporting and Xero.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Oversight of finances
• Ensure all expenditures are managed within budget approved by the Board
• Ensure inter-cities & countries transactions are reconciled
• Management of finances of all entities
• Oversee management of cash flow
Asset Management
- Maintain an updated record and database of all assets in across all the campuses.
- Overseeing upkeep and procuring necessary assets.
Weekly Banking
• Reconcile all EFTPOS receipts
• Process tithes and offerings, including banking all cash received
• Process by MOTO all credit card payments and reconcile receipts
• Prepare banking paperwork, floats for Sunday Services
• Accounts Receivable & Payable
• All facets of data entry in Xero
Financial Reports and Statements
• Process Bank and VISA reconciliations
• Balance and replenish Petty Cash
• Reconcile and replenish Expense Account
• Prepare Financial reports
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and entering these into Xero company file
• Process transactions from Storehub, Shopify, TXN/TKT
Offering Team
- Oversee and grow Count Team to meet the growing needs in events and services nationally.
Payroll
• Process employee reimbursements
Other
• Process and administrate all lease cars
• Process Building and location insurance
• Answer telephone when required
• Process payments and reconcile receipts
• Prepare Ad Hoc reports as required
