Theobjective of the Informatics Merseyside Development Service is to develop digital solutions through collaboration and innovation. The Development service provision is required to keep pace with ongoing development of technologies, providing solutions that are interactive for the end user and support changes in models of care delivery within the NHS and the need for agile working. The requirements now are increasingly for advanced custom development capabilities, using an array of platforms, languages, and technologies. The Development Service Delivery Manager will work with a range of stake holders (both internal and external) to ensure that developments are delivered to support our partners and customers objectives. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of solutions across all partners and customers, ensuring that all development work is completed within agreed timescales to the appropriate specification, managing quality assurance and deployment. Principal Responsibilities: Manage the development lifecycle, from capturing and documenting Partner and Customer requirements (including generating proposals and organising software demonstrations), prioritising work alongside competing demands, through to the delivery and transition to business as usual support. Receive and assess complex enquiries and requests for service from IM Partner Organisations, Customers and potentially other Trusts and transition those requests into the development lifecycle as appropriate. Interpret and communicate complex and highly technical issues to non-IM&T or technical staff, both internally within IM and externally within POs and Customers. Also to be involved in SLA meetings as appropriate and negotiations with third parties. Support the creation of designs and mock-ups for new solutions. Manage small teams on quick turnaround projects to create highly interactive applications and products, which includes customer projects, core technologies and internal product development. Collaborate with the development team to identify user acceptance criteria to gain Trust sign-off of work items, and manage the quality assurance (QA) and testing of solutions to ensure that they meet the agreed criteria. Take responsibility for the testing of solutions, ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility and compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards in the user's region or domain Manage the deployment of solutions into a production environment, supporting the definition/ implementation of, and adherence to, appropriate change control processes. Identify and document benefits delivered through development work, carrying out research where necessary to quantify achievement. Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies and author business cases and make recommendations to POs and Customers to support Innovation and the implementation of the latest technologies. Implement project management methodology to control and manage risks; issues; quality; delivery of developments on time and within budget. Providing regular highlight reports and working effectively across multiple teams. Feed into the process of internal IP development. Ensure that their own knowledge/skill set and that of the team remain up to date. Act as a role model to others showing a passion and commitment to the role and be an example of living up to the organizational values and behaviours. Provide IM&T service advice to inform IM and PO strategic business planning. Encourage the adoption of Agile approaches to solution developments. Ensure that all deliverables are compliant with the appropriate standards Contribute to continual improvement of the Development Service as part of the management team, by suggesting improvements to processes and contributing to strategic decisions related to the service.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Scheme Manager on a temporary basis on behalf of a well-established housing association in Merseyside.

You will be based at one of their Extra Care Schemes, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day housing management, as well as line management responsibility of an on-site Coordinator and Administrator.

Your new role

• Full responsibility of operational management and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs & preferences of residents.
• Lettings, allocations, viewings, sign-ups and inductions with new residents
• Facilitating monthly meetings with residents and annual service charge meetings
• Manage breaches of tenancies and incidents on site relating to neighbour nuisance or low level anti-social behaviour
• Dealing with low level complaints and general queries
• Assisting with logging repairs and chasing existing requests
• Routine health & safety compliance checks and risk assessments
• Providing reports on performance, outcomes and ensuring detailed records are maintained

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in the social housing sector, with older and/or vulnerable people within a housing environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of housing/tenancy management principles and relevant legislation
• Experience of allocations, lettings, completing assessments & support plans, managing caseloads and multi-agency working
• Experience of crisis management and risk minimisation
• Knowledge and understanding of welfare benefits system with the ability to provide budgeting advice

The Operations Manager: Test, Measurement and Inspection (TMI) will deliver the highest standards of operations and service to meet customer expectations and business compliance using the most profitable and efficient best practice.
Equal focus is required on Operational procedures and policy as well as Commercial awareness and delivery. This is a rapidly growing division and requires the Operations Manager to help steer and deliver and grow with business.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that equipment, premises, and employees adhere to all health, safety and quality procedures.
• Ensure we pro-actively achieve Vp Group audit and ESS/HS Compliance, Business Systems requirements and enforce environmental policy.
• Ensure the optimum level of equipment availability is achieved through effective management and maintenance of the hire fleet.
• Work with both operations and the commercial teams to ensure that we are exceeding expectations with our customers’ needs in terms of product innovation and management.
• Working with the commercial team to reduce fleet obsolescence and support asset disposal.
• Prepare CAPEX case submission with a view to introducing additional assets to the ESS fleet.
• Provide support and information to colleagues and customers regarding new assets added to the fleet.
• Support the commercial team with Supplier management: ensure competitive pricing is achieved.
• Liaise with the Finance and Commercial departments to create supplier agreements where appropriate.
• Support the Business Development team in winning and retaining national and customer accounts where applicable.
• Support and ensure disciplined cost management is effectively controlled within the TMI business.
• Provide compliance with all aspects of property management, ensuring that maintenance schedules are adhered to and all contractual obligations are met.
• Create and develop a suite of procedures documenting all TMI operational processes.
• When considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrate significant experience in the Hire sector, Test and Measurement industry or equivalent
• Manufacturer training desirable
• Technical background: Electro / Mechanical / Process etc.
• An electronic, mechanical, or engineering qualification is desirable.
• Educated to relevant level / equivalent experience.
• Management / Leadership experience
• Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities: encouraging, collaborative and able to inspire team with company strategy and goals.
