Midlothian Sport & Leisure Service aims to meet the needs of Midlothian residents, to enable them to be physically active, providing a positive & safe environment & varied programme of opportunities to be active.
The role;
- Serve as the first point of contact for all public enquiries at a Sport & Leisure facility’s reception and by telephone.
- Sale of activities and tickets and ensuring receipts correspond correctly with the selected activity and number of tickets issued for admission.
- Upsell Sport & Leisure memberships to prospective and existing members.
- Operate telephones, PCs and photocopiers as required.
- Undertake and record scheduled and unscheduled cleaning duties to S&L operational standards.
- Process all cash and card transactions in accordance with S&L operational procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and Health & Safety compliance of immediate working environment, reporting any issues, failures or hazards to Sport & Leisure Duty Officer in a timely manner.
KNOWLEDGE
Literate and numerate.
1 years’ customer service experience.
