You will be managing a critical external package which consists of heavy civil works, including ground works and 278 works.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understanding the scope of their package.
• Attending and contributing in contractor pre start meetings.
• Attending and contributing in design team meetings.
• Chairing weekly sub-contractor progress meetings, taking and issuing meeting minutes.
• Attending safe starts.
• Approving RAMS.
• Attending DABS and contributing to the meeting, discussing coordination with other trades. If necessary taking the meeting, issuing the DABS report to all other team members.

Assistant Night Manager

Do you have what it takes to ensure De Vere Beaumont Estate runs smoothly during the night shift?

De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor are seeking an Assistant Night Manager to join the team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the nightly hotel operation, runs smoothly, ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests, and maintaining our high standards of service.

As Assistant Night manager you will look after our guests and the Hotel between the hours of 10.30pm and 7am, 5 nights out of 7 each week. You will complete the night audit, check guests in and out of the hotel as required, complete hotel walkarounds throughout the night ensuring security and safety, and deal with any issues or complaints occurring overnight.

You will be on duty with at least one other member of the night team and our events team members will often be on site until the early hours of the morning when we have weddings/events taking place.

Information about the Role:
The services have a dual purpose whereby Mental Health regulated activities run parallel to a Nursing Home environment and the services cater for the needs of both genders. The accommodation is inclusive of 18 dual registered beds for nursing care, 42 nursing care and long term rehabilitation beds and 32 short term rehabilitation beds. The clinical team also provides Outreach and Community services. All accommodation is provided in spacious rooms which are all en-suite with television lounges, dining areas and personal care facilities. All rooms have lockable doors, storage space and lockable cabinets for personal effects or self-administering medication.
Main duties of the role:-

• Exercise effective managerial and clinical leadership of ward/department staff and manage non-compliance with agreed standards in line with service polices and protocols.
• Participate in the hospital on call system.
• Undertake individual performance review and the identification and implementation of personal development plans for all staff. This will be achieved by undertaking supervisions and annual appraisals for your staff.
• Deal personally with patients, families and carers in order to prevent and resolve
• concerns and complaints. To ensure that the ward team proactively engages with patients and their families when feedback from concerns are received.
• Hold regular (no less frequently than monthly) ward meetings and ensure Service and Directorate information is cascaded to the team.

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Programme Manager with proven experience of delivering and managing projects within Housing Services, staff management skills and ability to interpret technical Housing designs and concepts.

Working as the IT Programme Manager you will play a key role in the successful delivery and monitoring of core strategic programmes within a portfolio of change, with a proven experience of delivering projects within Housing Services.

As the IT Programme Manager you will provide knowledge and experience of leading/managing programmes of work including the following system suite – Housing Repairs, NEC Housing & Housing on Line, and workflow improvement into NEC Housing, to support automation, avoiding duplication and new system portals integration.


DUTIES

Your duties as the IT Programme Manager include:

• Supporting the daily delivery of Housing projects with collaboration across Directorates

• Improving Housing front door and online presence

• Delivering a new Repairs contract, including systems, data migration, and integration with NEC Housing

• Coordinating a strategic portfolio, working closely with the Service Manager Housing and Technology, Business Change Managers, PMO, and Project Managers

• Tracking Programme level related risks across the organisation, facilitating risk and assurance sessions with senior leaders

• Leading, motivating, and developing staff involved with Projects and Programmes

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and managing strong stakeholder relationships


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Proficiency: Ability to grasp and interpret high and low-level technical Housing designs, articulate technical concepts to stakeholders, and pass on knowledge to colleagues

• Project Management: Proven ability in managing projects, other managers, and staff to achieve agreed outputs within budget, including benefit realisation

• Organisational Skills: Highly developed organisational skills, good communication skills, and good inter-personal skills

• Problem-Solving: Ability to work on own initiative, solve problems, and take decisions to secure required results

• Implementation of additional functionality to support service transformation

Brand new role which will part of the Supplier Relationship Management team who will be fundamental in engaging and building productive relationships across the SSE Group with key Software and SaaS Suppliers.

Reporting to the Lead Supplier Relationship Manager, SRM shall be responsible for managing and developing productive relationships with our major Software and SaaS suppliers which have been selected through our Supplier Segmentation process in collaboration with our internal customers. Key Responsibilities

- Relationship Management. Implement, manage and develop productive relationships between IT, P&C, BU and IT Key Suppliers. Support Supplier Segmentation in collaboration with IT to identify key suppliers.

- Advisory. Provide commercial and contractual advice and insights to Procurement and Commercial leadership and Directors of the SSE Group.

- Governance. Manage a portfolio of Suppliers either within the Software/ category with a value of £50-100m per annum to support the delivery of Procurement & Commercial department KPIs and objectives in line with Procurement Manual, Commercial Manual and the IT Contract Management Governance Manual.

- Management. Manage the performance and develop the capabilities of a team of 2 Contract Manager(s). Also provide commercial / contractual advice and support to the wider P&C team.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Comprehensive and proven in depth knowledge and experience of the software and SaaS market and Supply chain, including experience in drafting, interpreting and negotiating complex IT & Telco Contracts.

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a highly experienced in building and maintaining relationships with IT & Telco Suppliers such as Microsoft, Oracle and GE. Experience in developing Business Reviews and collaboratively engaging with all stakeholders to create innovative solutions.

- Proven track record in communicating effectively with Senior Management and Directors to build valued and 'trusted partner relationships.

I am working with an established, growing Social Housing Contractor who specialise within decarbonisation/energy efficiency works and are a leading specialist within their field.

This is working on a project in the Reading area, and the project will consist of the installation of EWI, Air Source Heat Pumps, IWI, re-roofing and windows and doors installation to tenanted properties.

It is essential to have experience managing EWI projects for this role.

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for running the site, with occasional visits from the Contracts Manager. Your duties will be:

• Managing a site team including Tradesman, Subcontractors and Tenant Liaison Officer, ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget
• Monitoring health and safety on site
• Attending progress meetings, client meetings
• Liaising with tenants and resolving any issues that may arise

The successful candidate must have a background within Social Housing, with experience of working on EWI/Roofing/Retrofit projects.
