Implementing EDF Renewables Health and Safety policy and carry out regular checks and balances to ensure that it has been correctly applied in all the aspects of the construction project activities.

- Assisting the Business Development departments to successfully achieve Financial Investment Decision on pipeline projects and acquisitions
- Supporting the client information aspects of the Front-End Engineering and Design (FEED) process
- Assisting in the development of the construction budget and develop the delivery programme for the projects
- Assisting the development of construction cost estimates, resource schedules and construction programmes
- Working closely with internal engineering team members to accurately assess project DC capacities, electrical connection options and yield throughout the various stages of project
- Working with the team to Project Manage the construction phase of projects & develop the procurement and delivery strategy for the projects keeping up to date with market intelligence relating to Solar PV


What do you need to be great at this role?

- Appropriate Degree or equivalent industry standard qualification – ideally in Engineering (Civil, mechanical or electrical
- Demonstratable experience of construction management skills, working on construction projects, particularly Solar PV
- Experience of Construction Project Management
- Understanding and experience of delivering good health and safety practice
- Experience of working in a project team effectively to deliver the project goals and objectives
- Genuine interest in renewable energy

Grade 11 - £56,952 - £61324 per annum

Together for Children works on behalf of Sunderland City Council to deliver children’s services in the city and is an Ofsted rated Outstanding service.

Reporting into the Head of Service, you will provide strategic leadership, vision, and direction to the Social Care Children’s Homes Short Break Care, Supported Accommodation and Services for Care Experienced Young People in line with the company’s vision and priorities and to ensure that they are embedded within the service. You will also assist and act as a deputy for the Head of Service.
