The role
As a Lead Contract Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will act as the primary point of contact for all Contract Management matters relating to an assigned supplier and/or contract, working towards the construction of Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station based in Suffolk.

Day-to-day, you'll be working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including working as part of a multi-disciplinary team within a technically complex programme, holding responsibility for delivering contracts in accordance with NNC governance requirements to meet project and business objectives.

• Contributing to procurement and contracting strategies to meet the overall SZC Project objectives.
• Supporting upfront contract development activities across technical, programme, legal and commercial disciplines.
• Support to the budget process and analysing the commercial requirements of a contract.
• Support to the Commercial Lead in ensuring all internal governance approval is in place.
• Managing contracts in accordance with the contract terms (predominantly NEC3 and FIDIC), SZC governance requirements and SZC Project objectives to achieve a successful close.
• Promoting and embedding a strong nuclear safety culture, the right level of oversight, control and surveillance of supplier activities.

This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with one/two days in the office and three/four days working from home, amongst being adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Bristol or London.

Essential experience of the Lead Contract Manager

• Proven ability of working within a complex major project/programme environment in both procurement and post-procurement phases.
• Experience of standard forms of contract (NEC and FIDIC) within the power/construction industry on complex major projects/programmes.
• Evidence of successfully undertaking administering of complex contracts.
• Good understanding of procurement, contract performance measurement, risk management and change and claim management.
• Excellent negotiating, influencing and communication skills.
• Honed commercial skills and demonstrable ability to make sound decisions on complex matters (considering technical and commercial topics) of high financial value.
• Understanding of UK and international supply chain within nuclear sector.

About the role- Marketplace Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring optimal trading on Amazon Marketplace, managing the day to day trading across multiple brands and communicating results effectively with external brands

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pharmacy Supply Services Team based at North Bristol NHS Trust and play a pivotal role in supporting the Wards Stock and Pharmacy Inventory in the Hospital.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that accurate ward stock holding at ward levels is processed and well maintained as well as maintaining good control of the Pharmacy Inventory, keeping accurate levels, avoiding waste and managing suitable stock.

Under the guidance of the Distribution and Ward Stock Services Lead supervise the day-to-day operation of the Pharmacy Distribution and Ward Stock Services team in line with Trust policies, ensuring safe and secure storage, and supply of medicines at all times to provide effective, timely and high-quality patient centred service is always provided.

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff and workload of the Pharmacy Distribution team on a day-to-day basis to ensure a safe, effective, timely and high-quality patient centred service is always provided.



Participates in audits, both internal and external, including Government lead Inspections of services and facilities by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in relation to the Departments Wholesaler Dealers Authorisation (WDA ) ensuring continued maintenance of current licenses within Pharmacy.

To oversee all aspects of administration involved with the Pharmacy Distribution and Ward Stock at North Bristol NHS Trust.

To be responsible for all aspects of HR and recruitment (including but not limited to staff appraisals, sickness absence management, capabilities and disciplinary procedures and processes as required by the Trust).

The Pharmacy Department within the Brunel building is modern, with excellent facilities, and currently requires staff to be available to work shifts between the hours of 08:00 - 19:00 from Monday to Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9-17.

You will work alongside the Store Manager to develop a business plan that will support the growth in sales and profitability of your department

Greeting and speaking to customers, providing advice, answering questions, accepting orders, and offering helpful advice with a smile

Ordering and managing stock - including stocktaking

Effectively developing and managing a small team including staff rota’s

Cutting meat to order

Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment

Coordinating deliveries or order pickups

Controlling waste

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a Head of Computing & Business to lead both teaching and learning and the curriculum within the department alongside teaching across computing and business in KS3 & KS4 from January 2025. Business GCSE has recently been added to our curriculum offer in September 2024.

ABOUT THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES...

As a BOOKINGS & EVENTS MANAGER, you will be responsible for the effective management and conversion of all incoming enquires and bookings (group, tables, hire, space) – using the booking and enquiry platforms within the venue.
• Have a proactive approach to increasing booking enquiries and conversion of private bookings, exclusive hire and day to day customer bookings
• The generation, creation and application where required of bespoke events
• The key point of contact for all booking enquiries
• Working to predefined Key Performance Indicators
• The generation of new events and activities via both corporate group enquiries and guest direct enquiries - channels that lead to incremental sales and profit for the venue
• The coordination and utilisation of key dates in order to maximise revenue and exceed prior year and budget sales
• Selling all brand and venue specific products and packages to both new and existing customers and other pre-defined products/services
• To generate a network of corporate clients to maximise corporate hire and Christmas bookings
• Selling and promoting all venue/s function space, room hire and under-utilised areas to drive new revenue streams

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
• Organised approach to balancing the need to be business facing and available for new contact to be made
• A proven track record in face-to-face sales and/or tele-sales and effective use of digital booking platforms
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of outreach/lead generating activity in previous work
• The ability to understand KPI’s and proactive lead generating.
