The Office of Student Life (OSL) is a vibrant source of programming and events for Georgetown Law students and is at the center of student leadership learning outside the classroom. The Office of Student Life supports and empowers student leaders of 80+ student organizations, as well as the Student Bar Association and Georgetown Law Peer Advisors through programming, events, services, and advocacy. OSL advises all student organizations as they plan hundreds of community-wide events including high-profile speaking engagements, panels, symposia, performances, community-service opportunities, fundraisers, and social activities. The Office of Student Life also provides training, advising, logistical support, and financial management for the Student Bar Association, its more than 50 student members, and the allocation of student organization budgets. Finally, the Office of Student Life hosts a number of signature events to build a dynamic and inclusive student community at the Law Center.

Job Overview

The Assistant Director of Student Life has three primary functions relating to student leadership:

First, the Assistant Director serves as the primary advisor for 120+ student leaders, providing guidance on student organization programming, policy compliance, conference and event logistics, collaboration with other student organizations, opportunities for support or development, and management of organization budgets and day-to-day spending. This is different from the day-to-day and global financial responsibilities of the Dean of Students Business and Operations manager, who supports student organization large scale spending, including contracts, journals and travel arrangements, but does not manage daily student organization expenses nor the financial reporting of these daily transactions. The Assistant Director also provides all Georgetown Law students with guidance on OSL policies and procedures, administrative processes, student life resources, and financial policies and procedures as necessary. This advising role is a critical component of the position, as students must plan and execute their activities and programs in compliance with Georgetown Law policies while maintaining smooth logistical and financial operations.

Second, the Assistant Director is the primary advisor to the Student Bar Association Treasurer and the Student Bar Association House of Delegates, the Georgetown Law student governing body which allocates student organization funds.

Third, the Assistant Director serves as an administrative advisor for the Barrister's Council and handles the weekly reimbursement of the travel expenses of the Barrister's Council student members who compete in local, national, and international trial, appellate, and ADR competitions, as well as other planning and administrative functions for Barrister's Council.

Work Interactions

The Assistant Director has a key role in formulating and executing programming for the Office of Student Life to support broader Georgetown Law community-building. They are a member of the Office of Student Life team within the Office of the Dean of Students and reports to the Director of Student Life.

As well, the AD serves as the primary project manager for the office in charge of shepherding OSL events, programming, and initiatives from conception to fruition.

Job Overview

The Georgetown University Law Center's Information Systems Technology (IST) department is seeking a highly motivated Senior Director of Technology Operations, Client Services and GOCard Operations to lead and support network, security, GOCard, telecommunications, enterprise operations – including Client Services and Helpdesk Operations at the Law Center campus.

The Senior Director serves as the technology expert with responsibility for leading technical initiatives in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment that focuses on continual improvement for the institution. The Multi Disciplinary Program Director will partner closely with our physicians and leadership for all MD Anderson locations to support our Multi Disciplinary Programs for our Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary (GI/GU) Specialties. This position will play a key role in our integration and initiatives to increase market share, revenue and philanthropy efforts.

This is a full time salaried position, Mon-Fri No weekends or holidays

POSITION SUMMARY

This position facilitates multiple functions designed to promote the optimal performance of Multi-Disciplinary Programs (MDPs) and functions as a dyad partner with the MDP physician leaders. This position will coordinate efforts across the system to optimize representation of all MDPs and support clinical, operational and research initiatives. This position is responsible for assisting with ensuring ongoing compliance and operational performance of clinical programs and projects. Supports the development, implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the relevant programs. Enhances the Program though the coordination of daily operations, community education and activities using a comprehensive team approach. Ensures program compliance with regulatory and insurance standards.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Provides support to the delivery of integrated patient care throughout delivery sites by assuring care is coordinated through collaboration of MDPs and processes are followed from diagnosis into survivorship. Ensures consistency in the structure and function of the assigned multiple disciplines. Reviews ongoing assessments of strengths and weaknesses of MDPs and identifies opportunities for growth.

2. In collaboration with Marketing, Communications, and Strategy will provide input into the development of educational and promotional materials for community medical education. Advises internal partners as to branding opportunities for the MDPs. Partners with Business Development to identify and assists as appropriate in the cultivation of community partnerships and helping to foster the growth of the programs. Oversees on-sight contacts to increase awareness of and referrals to target programs/services.

3. Collaborates with business and data analysts to report on key clinical, operational and quality metrics including data relevant to patient experience, access information and NPS. Assists patient relations and managers to address service complaints and facilitate service recovery.

4. Ensures funds provided by donations to MDPs through the Banner Health Foundation are utilized according to donor-intent; tracks and provides information and metrics requested by the Banner Health Foundation to meet donor reporting obligations.

5. Develops and maintains positive relationships with professionals, national and/or local associations and planning agencies. Serves on committees as an ambassador for the assigned multiple disciplines and represents the organization in task forces, community affairs and special project groups when necessary.

6. Aligns the goals of assigned MDPS with those of the Cancer Center. Helps solidify the “identity” of each of the assigned MDPs, helping define the breadth and depth of activity at the programmatic level. Maintains high level of engagement among MDP members.

7. In partnership with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston ensures communication and alignment of the assigned multiple disciplines with counterparts, facilitates communication and identifies opportunities for research collaboration between BMDA and MDA.   

8. Promotes engagement, productivity, and competencies of staff team members. Mentors staff and onboards new team members to provide value to our internal and external customers, critical thinking, and problem solving. Supports Program Leaders with the planning, conduct and documentation of team meetings.

9. Internal customers include but are not limited to employees, patients, physicians, physician leaders and other directors and administrators at the local, regional, and corporate levels. External customers include donors, practicing physicians, vendors, and a community, state, or regional area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge and skills typically attained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, nursing or other health-related field.

Must demonstrate abilities normally attained with 5 or more years of experience in program development, management and evaluation in a healthcare environment. This position can require extensive travel and must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy. Requires excellent interpersonal skills.

Requires excellent knowledge of commonly used office software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Master’s Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Administration (MSN, MPH, MBA, MHA) or related field is strongly preferred. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Deputy Director of Recreation Services and Golf assists in providing vision and leadership to support a successful and high-performing recreation and golf organization. This role is responsible for planning, supervising, and administering the activities of the City of Aurora recreation facilities and programs, and golf courses. The Recreation organization includes 5 recreation centers, 6 outdoor pools, 1 center for older adults, 2 community centers, and recreation programs including preschools, aquatics, sports, special events, adaptive recreation services, services for older adults, and City-wide special events. The golf organization includes 5 club courses and related operations facilities: including pro shops, restaurants, and golf maintenance facilities. Reporting to the Director of Parks, Recreation, and Open Space, the Deputy Director supervises 3 direct reports including two Recreation Managers and the Manager of Golf, and approximately 140 Full-time employees and 500 plus seasonal employees.  

The new Deputy Director will have the opportunity to focus on several initiatives including developing an effective working relationship with City Council, working to enhance the financial stability of the organization including finding ways to monetize programs, and engaging with the department and staff to evaluate and improve facilities, programs, and services both internally and for the citizens of Aurora.

The Deputy Director also supports the Department Director including acting as Director in their absence, representing the Director at meetings, serving as a policy advisor to the Department Director, and representing the department at citizen led Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, Aurora Youth Commission, Aurora Commission for Older Adults, and Golf Advisory Committee.

Essential Functions - Director, Strategic Planning 

• Working closely with System and Division leadership, lead strategic planning and development ensuring alignment with SH strategy. The strategy plan will consider business performance, market competition, researched innovation (both technical and business) and shifting demographics. Bring innovative thinking and ideas to the table for leadership consideration which could include joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions or other creative solutions.
