The United States Space Force (USSF) Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM), 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron at Vandenberg Space Force Base is searching for a Test Director (NH-0801-03).

Description:
The 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron is at the cutting edge of new Space Domain Awareness and Space Command and Control technology. The ideal candidate will possess Space operations and/or Space Test experience. Program Management, Microsoft Office skills, briefing/presentation skills, teaching/instructing experience, able to explain engineering terms and concepts and able to accomplish engineering tasks (as required).

• As deputy to the director/commander, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Force Support Squadron (FSS).

• Makes comprehensive assessments and evaluations of program goals/objectives which provide a basis for long-range planning to enhance the management support capabilities of the FSS.
• Represents the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation organizations and outside agencies.

• Plan, organize and oversee all activities supporting the wing commander and vice commander.

This position is located within the Division of Facility Management at Everglades National Park and is duty stationed at park headquarters in Homestead Florida. The Supervisory Interdisciplinary (Branch Chief Design and Construction) is responsible for, and has authority to, initiate, establish, guide, and control a broad range of project planning, design and construction efforts from inception through completion.

• Supervises an interdisciplinary staff of professional designers (engineers/architects/landscape architects) and project managers to accomplish this work within Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks.
• Reviews and manages the Facility Management Division's annual operating budget and project budgets, adjusting account allocations over time throughout the fiscal year. Accommodates provisions for adequate staffing, completion of routine administrative work, purchase of supplies and materials, employee training and travel, AE management, and execution of specially funded projects within respective operating funds and project budgets.
• Serves as the park's Facility Management Division lead contracting officer's representative (COR). Requests funding clearance for contract modifications from WASO/Region or other authority as appropriate. Coordinates review of submittals and word of on-sight inspector, Oversees project closure (closeout: post occupancy, warranty review, as built).
• Leads and manages the park's environmental management system and maintains up to date, accurate records of the park's environmental liabilities.
• Responsible for the on-the-job safety and health of all employees supervised. Initiates efforts conforming to established local and bureau safety programs to satisfy this responsibility.

• Manage all operational immigration programs and activities as well as all administrative support functions in a Field Office
• Administer immigration benefits and services.

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. The Section Chief, in conjunction with the Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS); Deputy Associate Chief of Staff (DACOS) and Chief Medical Officer DBMSOPC will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, implementation, controlling and refining a comprehensive patient management, clinical support, and administrative program. This is a supervisory/leadership position that will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of DBMSOPC, Ambulatory Care.

This position will require sound clinical skills, knowledge & experience in Primary Care operations, flexibility & the ability to role-model & lead change. The transformation within Primary Care/PACT is intended to improve Veteran satisfaction, quality of care, safety, improve health outcomes & reduce healthcare costs. The position will require a dynamic, forward-thinking leader who will be required to collaborate with the Primary Care Section Chiefs at other locations within Orlando VAHCS to lead forward primary care/PACT operations. Collaborative relationships will also include partnerships within the facility with Nursing services, HAS, Integrated Health, Social Services, Pharmacy, Women's Health, Mental Health & others.
