Responsible for managing one or more national or local accounts, including providing timely, consistent, and accurate flow of information required to operate the portfolio in order to meet the client’s and company objectives. Act as a point of contact for integrating service platform for the client, as well as ensuring that accounting practices are sound and consistently applied. Provide the general and financial information required for other members of the management team to make informed decisions and to carry out their operating responsibilities.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide leadership for markets which are geographically or functionally distinct and demonstrate ability to implement business unit strategy
• Develop and maintain both a communication style and relationship that fits the client’s preferred style
• Demonstrate proactive customer service regarding all aspects of account management.
• Communicate proactively, first when performance is not meeting expectations, and second when performance meets or exceeds expectations
• Regularly associate with tenants to insure their reasonable satisfaction with building operations. Interact with tenants along with Property Manager on problems that may occur
• Coordinate and/or prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for clients in accordance with management and other agreements, and in accordance with instruction received from the client. Preparation responsibility relates primarily to financial information and adherence to leasing guidelines. Review information and variances with Property Management Team
• Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and any revisions thereto and also oversee operating compliances with budget approved by clients
• Ensure completion of property tax administration and supervise services rendered by property tax consultant
• Ensure administration of property and liability insurance requirement
• Ensure compliance with the purchase order system, contracts, policies and procedures, and accounting requirements established by clients
• Oversee the billing process, including payment of invoices and disbursement of funds. Monitor cash flow and/or cash requirements in conjunction with the Property Manager to assure efficient use of cash
• Assist the Client/Asset Manager and Property Manager in determining proper cost allocations, identification of any re-billable cost, proper accounting for inventories, purchasing procedures, and any special accounting problems
• Responsible for maintaining desired internal financial benchmarks for each asset with the portfolio as defined by the Director and Asset Manager. This includes occupancy levels, income levels, delinquency percentage, IRR and cash flow
• Monitor cash flow and/or cash requirements in conjunction with the Property Manager to assure efficient use of cash
• Coordinate construction projects with Construction Manager and Property Manager and approve construction contract documents and final invoices.
• Effectively staff and develop bench strength and succession planning – positioning for new business
• Regularly inspect properties with staff
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and career path discussions. Oversee and ensure that all property management and maintenance staff receive an annual performance evaluation.
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding property staffing needs, personnel performance issues, salary administration, personnel promotions and training and career development

Job Overview:

The VP, Business Development Consultant within LPL's Business Development division will drive sales by identifying and aiding in the recruitment of premium segment financial advisors and teams. This position is responsible for attracting leading advisors to join LPL from the top global banks, wirehouses, and RIAs. This is a unique opportunity to help establish the firm’s presence in this segment of the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop sales and recruiting strategies; research, source, and engage with prospects

• Identify new prospective advisors within the target segment by making initial sales calls, as well as respond to inquiries

• Individually own certain advisor segments of the pipeline from initial contact to the advisor joining LPL working in close partnership with Regional Directors and Division Managers

• Meet with prospective advisors to effectively demonstrate LPL’s unique value proposition and address any questions or concerns

• Expertly navigate long sales cycles, often with multiple buying influences

• Utilize discretion and independent judgment in evaluating potential advisors to determine whether the advisor and their book of business is an appropriate candidate for LPL

• Train and educate internal staff on the nuances of recruiting premium segment wirehouse and bank advisors, as well as coaching the team on the competitive landscape and what hurdles we need to overcome in order to win the business

• Continually improve and evaluate recruitment practices, ideas, opportunities, and affinity partnerships to increase ability to source women advisors

• Understand and articulate LPL’s business model, LPL’s policies, the financial services industry, and the benefits of joining one of LPL’s affiliation options

• Partner with the BD leadership team on the continued evolution of LPL’s offering and capabilities to establish ourselves as the leading solution in the market

• Identify external organizations, local events, and conferences that create new sourcing channels, and attend events on behalf of LPL and the Business Development group

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. THE JOB

The Director of House of Blues / Brooklyn Bowl Experience Marketing will work closely with the Vice President of Experience Marketing in building and driving end to end national marketing strategies for 10 House of Blues & 3 Brooklyn Bowl venues around the country, focusing on all experience related lines of business including restaurant, Foundation Room, and Bowling. By leveraging data and partnering with Venue Nation partners across operations, fan and artist hospitality, this role will lead national experience initiatives to drive our business forward while showcasing and celebrating the heart and soul that makes both businesses so unique.

As part of a heavily matrixed organization, this role will also be responsible for ensuring the mission statements and values for each business drive best practices, business objectives and priorities that can be clearly communicated and implemented by a team of marketers working across different organizations around the country.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Lead the creation of strategic roadmaps & integrated marketing plans for our House of Blues and Brooklyn Bowl lines of business.
• Ensure program development and rollouts are streamlined and executed smoothly
• Communicate with subject area experts across Brand, operations, restaurant, special events & more to develop marketing & communication strategies for the business
• Align internal partners as well as external agencies via strategic briefs, design, copy, website content, social content, media buying, and others as needed based on the initiative.
• Use data based decision making to evolve business strategy based on both guest & business needs.
• Ensure there is transparency & communication between HOB General Managers / BB managers & their marketers, help address concerns as they come up
• Educate and mentor marketers to be brand stewards for each LOB

• Leverage data to develop and drive programs to increase frequency of concertgoers

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Director of Operations located in Austin, TX.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sr. Director of Operations is responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources, and leading an organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence. In charge of managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications, required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost
• Define operational financial goals
• Operational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L
• Establish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.
• Define and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.
• Meet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI’s.
• Attend quarterly business reviews with key customers.
• Partner with other business to establish strategic plans and goals.
• Direct and control the activities on purchasing business, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Requires a minimum of 10+ years of related experience.
• Management and comprehension of P&L, customer and company metrics
• Proven success guiding multiple manufacturing entities
• Ability to identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems. 
• Excellent Business skills as well as people management and staff development prowess
• Able to utilize tools to monitor departmental cost and cost trends, continuously striving to improve value.

ERM’s Air Quality technical community pursues and wins highly innovative engagements for the most interesting clients, providing the full breadth of air quality services. With annual global sales in excess of $50 million, ERM’s Air Quality service area is one of the largest among its peers in our industry and is steadily growing at a double-digit pace. In North America alone, ERM has more than 300 dedicated air quality and climate change professionals assisting clients with projects as diverse as developing responses to emerging Low Carbon Fuel Standards, to leading complex capital projects through the many hurdles associated with the NSR permitting program.

ERM is structured to encourage collaboration and networking among regional offices, providing opportunities to network with ERM’s national air quality technical team to share best practices and consulting opportunities. Our many leaders proactively work together to build strategies and campaigns around key business drivers for our clients, with the primary focus of finding and delivering high-profile rewarding projects and building our business, whether it be for GHG reporting regulations, new air dispersion modeling challenges, new MACT and NSPS standards, energy management, or climate change adaptation.

ROLE PROFILE:

• Primary focus on client account development, sales, and delivery of the full spectrum of ERM’s consulting services to deliver strategic value to our clients in the chemical and power sectors.  In particular, play a key role in growing ERM’s Air Quality business across its broad portfolio of service offerings:
  • Air quality permitting and compliance programs
  • Carbon management, energy efficiency, and climate change adaption
  • Greenhouse gas and global warming strategies
  • Atmospheric dispersion modeling
  • Air pollution control technology evaluations and compliance
  • Emission measurements and CEM systems
• Actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy. 
  • Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of ERM’s capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients’ needs for ERM services.
  • Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.
  • Maintain pulse on industry business cycles and prioritize sales efforts toward high-potential, top opportunities.
  • Manage capture efforts utilizing technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, and presentations.
• Contribute to leadership and management of major air quality programs and projects for ERM’s industrial chemical and power sector clients.  Lead consulting engagements in the areas of strategic air permitting, compliance assurance, and greenhouse gas.
• Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants.  Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed and given new areas of responsibility.
• Support the growth and development of ERM’s global Air Quality service area and actively collaborate with colleagues across the globe. Drive innovation within the service area to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market. 
• Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build ERM’s global business, as well as to lead client and technical teams.
• Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS/MS in engineering or related discipline; PE preferred.
• 15+ years’ progressive air quality experience in a consulting environment, working substantially with industrial clients on Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, MACT, GHG projects.
• Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognize corporate opportunities.
• Demonstrable track record in delivering multimillion dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
• Offer recognized technical expertise and an established reputation in the local marketplace.
