The Private Wealth Management Group develops and manages relationships with wealthy individuals and families, advising them on ways in which to build and protect their financial assets through equity, fixed income and alternative investments.
The Markets Solutions Group develops and structures cross-asset class derivatives to private wealth clients, helping them take advantage of market opportunities and manage a broad spectrum of risks. Within which, there are Equity Solutions Group & FICC Solutions Group that focuses in different asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advisory and transactional solutions for private wealth clients utilizing our robust execution platform featuring a multitude of global trading counterparties and issuers
- Assisting in monitoring of macro sector trends and their impact on asset markets, identify trading opportunities in the individual asset classes and/ or the hybrid spaces between them.
- Work in conjunction with trading teams, capital markets, research, and strategists to meet client needs and develop investment recommendations
- Work closely with our London and NY teams to ensure ideas reach the AWM franchise globally
- Partner with Private Wealth Advisors to provide clients with world-class coverage and service.
- Work with Control Functions (operations, controllers, compliance etc) to ensure smooth settlements, risk monitoring and revenue recognition
- Educate Private Wealth Advisors and clients on products and opportunities across all asset classes
- Assisting in the creation of marketing materials and market update materials
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in markets. Multiple sectors and regions preferred.
- Experience in bond portfolio construction and management --- recommend switches, hedges etc.
- Interest Rate Derivatives experience
- Equity and macro market experience
- Structuring and pricing, OTC & securitized products would be an advantage
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment
- Keen interest in the financial markets and has solid commercial instincts
- Attention to detail
- Good judgment and risk management
- Strong quantitative skills; comfortable working with complex, structured financial products
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Strong combination of analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong client facing and presentation skills
