The Role

The Role
A confident SEN qualified practioner is required to provide support and tuition to learners with recognised and identified learning difficulties or disabilities. The suitable candidate will provide an excellent learning experience to ensure individual and/or groups of learners gain the appropriate skills in preparation for achievement in national and local exams and assessments, as well as a social skills and behaviours to enable them to then be successful in employment or higher education.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 specialist SEN qualifications or equivalent or be working towards, and a full teaching qualification or be working towards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You will be required to provide person-centred learning support to students with severe and complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities which may include supporting them with personal care where necessary. Skills and Experience
You will have good literacy and numeracy skills and have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with students, teachers, parent/carers and, other agencies involved with the students. The Role

Working with the Exams Manager and Team Leaders to ensure the effective administration of the College examinations and examination process. To administer all examinations, and the safeguarding of examination papers in compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisations rules and regulations. To manage the booking of online testing centres at Bromley and Orpington sites and other physical resources and space used for examinations in compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisation rules and regulations. Co-ordinate the scheduling of online exam timetable, invigilators, and additional support for learners in compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisation rules and regulations.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will be a team player and be able to work under pressure. Ideally, we would like a candidate that has worked in an educational environment, desirably in exams or MIS and be familiar with or know of Joint Council for Qualifications.
