• Overseeing activities involved with processing of passengers, baggage, cargo, and/or carriers.

As a National Bank Examiner (Analyst to Assistant Deputy Comptroller), you will:

• Analyze supervision findings for banks and thrifts assigned to the Assistant Deputy Comptroller (ADC), identify areas of concern, determine methods of resolution and recommend appropriate action and/or follow-up.
• Fill in for the ADC during short absences. May assist the ADC to develop and monitor the performance of the annual plan, including budget for the ADC's portfolio. Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the field office as requested.
• Supervise and manage the work of assigned office support personnel and may make the assignment of work for field office personnel.
• Periodically serve as Examiner-In-Charge (EIC) in community banks or thrifts or assist in supervisory activities in midsize, credit card banks, or large banks and comparable thrifts, as requested.
• Attend meetings with Boards of Directors and bank and thrift management, representing the Supervisory Office. Act as the liaison with representatives of the banking and thrift industry and community groups. Provide technical assistance and guidance to bankers, bank directors, examining personnel, outside parties, and district and Washington office personnel.
• Coordinate sharing of resources with other analysts assisting an ADC and work closely with district counsel on problem institutions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent has overall responsibility for customer service, pre-registration, scheduling, appointment management, insurance collection, administrative and clinical software maintenance, management of patient first contact resolution processes, call center software, fund control management, VistA program management patient information collection.

Develops and implements long and short-range goals and plans, which includes identifying needs and potential issues in operations of the service through analyzing workload, expenditures, trends, and national VA policy implications.

Coordinates with VISN leadership on programs and initiatives that have implications for the Site Scheduling operations to include scheduling initiatives, implementation and roll out of new scheduling or other technical software systems, and other initiatives related to supporting patient access to care, including virtual modalities.

Participates and support the HAS Leadership in planning, implementing, and evaluating all programs relative to administrative support services, including systematic review, monitoring of performance improvement, space utilization, equipment management, and system analysis.

Works closely with Facility Business Implementation Manager, Fiscal and Health Information Managements (HIMS) operations for direct impact the Veterans Equitable Resource Allocation (VERA) system, which is the primary funding model for the allocation of appropriated funds to the medical center.

The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to assist in the technical development and maintenance of the wing's readiness/deployment program and to train reservists in the tasks of this position.

DUTIES:
DUTY 1 - Provides direction, development and maintenance of the wings deployment program.
DUTY 2 - Plans for and evaluates logistics readiness. Reviews tasked plans and Air Expeditionary Forces
(AEF) requirements to ensure availability of required materiel and personnel to identify existing shortfalls or limiting factors.

Directs the inspection and surveillance of the air carrier's continuous airworthiness maintenance program. Monitors all phases of the air carrier's maintenance operation, including the following: maintenance, engineering quality control, production control, training, and reliability programs. Analyzes trends to detect. a deterioration in the maintenance program.

Analyzes reports submitted by the air carrier to ensure compliance with the maintenance program and assures the air carrier has an effective continuing analysis and surveillance program to meet the requirements of the FARs.

Exercise considerable independence in performing recruitment and placement tasks involved in filing a variety of lower-grade clerical, administrative, technician and semi-skilled wage grade positions.
