The Trust (GEH) is procuring a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) which will enable seamless, integrated care across the Trust and improve the safety, efficiency and quality of care. This will be a single shared instance of EPR across the three trusts of George Eliot Hospital (GEH), South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust (SWFT) and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, with GEH and SWFT following on with a planned Go Live in 2026 after a UHCW Go Live in June 2024. This post of an EPR Clinical Chief Information Officer (EPR CCIO) will provide the clinical leadership for the GEH EPR programme, in close collaboration with the CCIO at SWFT and within the above overarching single instance EPR governance across three trusts. They will lead and promote clinical engagement, support user centred design, support clinical safety activities and raise the profile of the programme to ultimately ensure that the new EPR is safe, it underpins quality, improves the clinician and patient experience and drives efficient delivery of care. Under the direction of the Integrated Health team Professional Team Leader participate in the training/clinical education for staff and students, including: peer clinical supervision, interdisciplinary reflection, the training and support of NVQ candidates including writing expert witness statements. To attend external courses were identified as part of individual appraisal. To attend professional meetings and study days appropriate to the needs of the service. Thereafter, to provide written evidence of learning and feedback to the Integrated Health team. • Identifying training needs for Occupational therapy staff and participate in the development and delivery of Occupational Therapy CPD opportunities

  To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist
• At least 6 years post qualifying experience.
• Registered with the HCPC and meet the necessary continuing professional development requirements in order to remain on the register.
• Hold the relevant sensory practitioner qualifications
• A full and clean UK driving licence
