To report and support the diagnosis of faults and withdraw systems from service if equipment requires routine tests and checks or is known to be faulty. To identify faulty Matress components and replace as necessary ensuring to record information for department cross charging. To perform all necessary work within the department and to be flexible when demands upon the department requires a fast response. Undertakes all assigned work without immediate supervision utilising department supplies and collaborating directly with other departments and suppliers as necessary. To ensure efficient utilisation of spare parts and to monitor stock control raising purchase order requisitions as necessary. To propose and be prepared to implement changes to departmental working practices and to assist the Assistant Sterile Services Manager in the preparation of reports and feedback of pressure relieving systems as and when required. To undertake training and development as required, both in operational matters related to the work of the department and any mandatory courses e.g. fire lectures. To participate in appraisals and personal reviews and work to achieve agreed set objectives. To ensure at all times that work is performed in accordance with health and safety legislation, statutory requirements and other regulations that are applicable to the department function.

• Minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade 4 or higher (or equivalent qualification). This must include Maths, English and a Science or IT based subject
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
• Must be over the age of 18 by January 2025

Programme Specifics:

• This apprenticeship is typically 18 months in duration
• Starting salary of £17,500 which will increase throughout the duration of the programme
• The qualification you gain will be a Level 3 IT Solution Technician
• Our chosen training provider Bragd will support you in obtaining your qualification
• You will work in an Agile model from both our office environment and remotely from home. You may also be required to visits client sites on occasions.
• On completion of your apprenticeship, we hope to offer you a full-time position with Telent where you can continue to pursue your career
• You will be mentored by colleagues, supervisors, managers and tutors throughout the programme

What skills and experience we're looking for

PE is a thriving, successful and popular subject at Myton. It is highly valued by the school’s governors and Leadership Team as a subject that contributes significantly to the ethos and values we hold as a community as well as our students’ personal and character development. We are looking for a visionary leader to take the steps needed to bring the department forward at all key stages.

Your appointment as Head of PE will be to lead the team of specialist PE teachers. This team are committed, passionate teachers who provide an excellent PE education to our students.
