Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Pontypool

Salary: £26-£28k a year depending on experience

Hours: Full time. Monday - Friday days regular 7.00 until 4 Monday to Thursday and 7 to 11.45 on a Friday.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-Ordinate the booking of inbound and outbound freight ensuring a spread of workload to manage each shipment in a timely manner.
• Coordinate inbound road freight.
• Communicate with Ocean freight companies to ensure a timely, seamless receipt of container traffic.
• Create Inbound Shipments, Customs Clearance Documentation and ensure all relevant paperwork is collated with the Freight Company.
• Interact with other departments who impact on this process.
• Raise Limited order numbers to process Freight payments.
• Verify pricing on all shipping documents.
• Book all outbound freight.
• Ensure smooth timely dispatch to customer.
• Ensure outbound paperwork and labels are in place prior to loading.
• Provide KPI data and report on transport performance.
• Ensure traceable records are kept.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience gained within a manufacturing logistics environment.
• Knowledge of international freight requirements.
• Good computer skills (ERP system preferred)
• Excellent time management skills.
• Organisational skills and a methodical approach, prioritizing workload.
• Excellent communication at all levels within the organisation.

Experienced Health & Safety Advisor required to assist with the delivery of a £100M new highways project based in Southampton, Hampshire. This is a negotiated project for a key client with a good pipeline of future works in the area.

Reporting into the visiting Head of H&S and collaborating directly with the operational team and Project Manager with handover anticipated to take place in 2029.

This Health & Safety Advisor role will involve regular client liaison, highways construction methodology, supporting site teams and ensuring safety standards are compliant with business & client standards, developing risk assessments and regularly conducting health & safety inspections and audits.

As Health & Safety Advisor your role is to ensure site safety and ensure the relevant training is conducted to staff to ensure a safe working environment.

This Health & Safety advisor role is within a busy Tier 1 Civils contractor who specialise in array of heavy civils and infrastructure schemes including railway infrastructure, aviation, energy, water, and environmental infrastructure.

Job Title: Senior Claims Co-ordinator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Claims Handler with a passion for excellent customer service to join our local team. In this role, you will help ensure that every touchpoint is engaging, efficient, and effective. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will manage job lifecycle workflows related to Restoration and Reinstatement following insurance claims. Striving to deliver the highest level of customer experience, you will be a key liaison between the policyholder, the insurance company, our in-house field teams (technicians, trades, and managers), and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the claims lifecycle from receipt of the initial instruction to job completion.
• Take responsibility for all administrative aspects of each claim, ensuring that client systems/portals (including case notes, logs, and records) are accurately maintained and within agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Serve as a central point of contact for policyholders, insurance clients, field technicians, and office teams to ensure efficient and exemplary job completion.
• Manage the regional administrative resource, providing support and guidance to other administration staff within the team to maintain workflow and quality standards.
• Schedule trades according to job requirements on a day-to-day basis, optimizing time and minimizing travel.
• Order materials in advance when necessary to keep workflows uninterrupted.
• Take lead responsibility for assessing customer satisfaction with service and identifying any necessary remedial action.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in administration, claims handling, or customer service.
• Experience in planning and allocating work to field-based staff is preferred.
• Experience overseeing the work of others or supporting team workflow.
• An understanding of claims management tools and systems is an asset but not required.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
• Proficiency in IT skills, including basic Excel use; experience with data analysis is a plus but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage effectively across all levels.

Hours: Full time working Monday to Friday, you would be in London 2 days a week working 10-12 hour days 5am-5pm
Then 8am-4pm 3 days in the Warehouse
