- Manage the NEC staff engaged in executing and enforcing Army IT Portfoliio services, policies, standards, architectures, programs, plans, and budget for Information Technology (IT) issues.
- Utilize available resources to execute projects designed to create business value and meet organizational IT Requirements.
- Act as an advocate for the NEC, Senior Commanders, and Supported Commands with the Signal Brigade and 7th Signal Command (T) on provided baseline.
- Monitor the execution of baseline and enterprise services; sets appropriate structures and process in place to ensure delivery of C4IM services.
- Personally and through subordinate supervisors, prepare and present justifications for organization structure and personnel requirements to accomplish assigned mission and functions.
- Ensure development of and approve organizational work plans, short and long-range schedules, priorities, work assignments, and position structures to effectively carry out the work of the NEC.
- Establish workload priorities and initiate assignments based on the difficulty, complexity, type of work and incumbent capabilities.
- Provide executive leadership, guidance, and direction to ensure acquisition, development, and retention of a professional, highly capable workforce to accomplish assigned missions.
- Directly manage and supervise the NEC’s workforce with responsibility for managing the delivery of services and maintain cyber readiness.
