- Serve as Explosive and Range Safety subject matter expert for explosives and range safety programs for HQs, US Army Pacific (USARPAC).
- Assist the explosives and range safety Program Manager with planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring effectiveness of explosives and range safety programs within USARPAC's area of responsibility.
- Develops Surface Danger Zones (SDZ) for live fire exercises in foreign locations and initiates range safety deviations when required IAW Army policy.
- Provide advice on policies and procedures, accident reporting and analysis, field surveys, and occupational safety and health hazards pertaining to the command ammunition and explosives safety program.
- Provide advice to command staff and subordinate organizations on high risk operations.
- Evaluate military tactical training operations in order to identify unsafe conditions/practices and recommend corrective action.
- Represent the command at national/international conferences and meetings.
