The service will look to addressing both a service users’ immediate crisis and longer-term recovery goals. It provides safe, high-quality support with an emphasis on understanding the factors which contributed to the crisis. The service equips them with strategies and tools to support their ongoing mental health recovery.

The service operates a holistic therapeutic support model, working towards preventing hospital admissions.

Follow routine maintenance schedules and procedures for the grounds and gardens, vehicles and equipment across all the Hospital sites. Carry out planned preventative maintenance in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and schedules. Assist and support the Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative /Building Manager in undertaking day-to-day maintenance of the Hospital grounds, in a way which minimises risk to self, others and complies with relevant legislation, policies, procedures. Be competent in the use of all relevant tools and equipment and work within safety guidelines current legislation and manufacturers recommendations as necessary for the completion of reactive and planned works. Identify and prioritise own workload and actively complete all documentation in a timely manner. Assist with operational tasks within the waste recycling complex as and when required. On an ad-hoc basis undertake site cleanliness and litter picking duties across all sites. Safely and correctly prepare, clean, use and store securely equipment, tools, materials and work areas leaving them in a suitable condition for future use. Hold a valid current driving licence and safely and legally drives the Trusts vehicle fleet (Including the towing of trailers) as and when required. Actively take part in the on-call rota and attends site at short notice for snow/frost clearance during the months when inclement weather may prevail. Keep the sites tidy and generally free from the accumulation of litter, leaves and debris. Inspect landscaping, footpaths and trees on a weekly basis to identify defective or dangerous areas and rectify any faults or advise Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative. Undertake pesticide spraying in accordance with statutory guidance and regulations. Assist and support the Lead Grounds Maintenance Operative/ Building Manager in project work, surveys, and other similar duties.

Please see the attached document for the full job description Provide high quality resuscitation training and education within the guidelines of the Trust Resuscitation Training Policy and the Resuscitation Council (UK) in order to ensure staff have the knowledge and skills to continuously improve the care and management of the critically ill and arrested patient e.g ABLS/PBLS, ILS/PILS/ALS/APLS, EALS. Provide specialist clinical advice and guidance relating to matters connected with resuscitation practice e.g relating to the complex interpretation of life-threatening emergencies, documentation, clinical practice or associated professional issues. Support the development of proactive and responsive resuscitation training which is compliant with Resuscitation Council standards. Develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of a robust resuscitation training plan which meets the needs of the service, supports clinical competency based resuscitation training and meets the trajectory for Trust mandatory compliance targets. Support the Senior resuscitation officers and resuscitation trainers within the team to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence is achieved. Cover Cardiac Arrest call bleep, attending and participating in resuscitation attempts as part of the resuscitation team on a regular basis, providing specialist knowledge and advice during and following the resuscitation attempts of all patient groups. Maintain a safety-first approach, reviewing clinical practice, identifying areas for learning and provide assurance of standards for clinical practice. Ensure all candidates, internal and external teaching faculty welcomed in a manner which promotes a positive image of yourself, the department and the organisation. Act consistently as a positive, enthusiastic, responsive and dynamic member of the Resuscitation Team. Demonstrate a flexible approach to working patterns as needed at certain times e.g. long days/ weekend courses Support the drive to ensure resuscitation education is delivered to a high quality standard , which contributes to service delivery, adds value to the organisation and improves the safety & quality of care with compassion Support input of National Cardiac Arrest Audit (NCAA) providing regular feedback of data. Participate in trials, evaluations and implementation of new resuscitation equipment across the Trust

Duties include but are not limited to: Provide good quality personalised care in accordance with agreed local and national standards. Undertake duties relevant to the clinical area following completion of competencies. Assist to maintain patient safety, conforming to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines. Assist in maintaining standards of care and practice by recognising, respecting and meeting the needs and choices of individuals. Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean and productive environment, compliant with standards for hygiene and cleanliness. Maintain and develop own competence. Process information according to local and national requirements.

Communication Respond to complaints and concerns from the public regarding services or equipment maintenance. Provide a response which is empathetic in relation to the issues involved. Participate in and communicate with Trust committees including the provision of reports in relation to the Engineering department services. Keep accurate and complete records of all activities and ensure written communication is consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures. Liaise with the Trust Medical Device Management Group in relation to the Engineering responsibilities for Medical Devices. Facilitate and cascade information to the team e.g. Team Brief, meetings etc. providing a regular briefing in relation to performance, service developments and change management. Ensure Estates colleagues and the wider Trust are kept aware of changes to both Statutory and NHS applicable guidance via verbal communications, email updates or formal reports. Communicate with people in a form and manner consistent with their level of understanding, culture, background and preferred ways of communicating. Communicate as and when required with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Liaise with Safety Inspectors, Risk Managers and developing and maintaining positive working relationships with staff side H&S reps. Ensure close working relationships with all other leads within the Division and clinical locations to achieve a Patient focused service delivery model. Reviewing/audit Identify and evaluate areas for potential service improvement. Develop and prepare various management reports on Engineering services, risk, performance as and when required. Lead audits as required. Participate in review of standards and performance. Regularly review the use of highly complex engineering systems to ensure that they continue to meet demand criteria and users expectation of the service, particularly where such services have a direct impact on clinical care or safety. Investigate and prepare reports on complaints received from patients, visitors, staff and public regarding services provided by the Engineering Department. Ensure compliance with HSE guidance and other Approved Codes of Practice. Monitor, audit and document H&S compliance. Participate in Trust H&S meetings and report on Engineering compliance levels. Assist the Assistant Director of Estates in the development and regular review of the Estates Strategy considering Trust service strategies and Trust wide service development plans. Development Ensure own continual professional development is appropriately managed as per registration requirements and demands of the role. To hold monthly one to one meetings with direct reports, focusing on the achievement of actions, priorities, providing support and positive challenge. Delegate work to team members as appropriate in line with their individual skills, development needs and aspirations. Address issues and concerns that may inhibit staff from achieving both their personal and organisational goals. Enable and encourage others to offer suggestions, ideas, and views for improving services. Ensure all team members have a meaningful annual appraisal and annual personal development plan to ensure delivery of personal, directorate and Trust objectives. Ensure that Engineering staff are appropriately trained both for their general responsibilities and to maintain dedicated or specialist devices. Contribute to the development of others enabling them to make realistic self-assessments and apply their knowledge and skills in practice. Actively promote the workplace as a learning environment encouraging everyone to learn from each other and from external good practice. Management Overall Responsibility for Managing the Engineering Department to ensure that all Engineering building services, and equipment are complaint with statutory legislation and guidance. Responsible for producing and implementing departmental procedures as appropriate, contribute to Trust Policies. Provide a source of expertise, information, and training for equipment users at all levels. Manage the recruitment, appointment, induction, training, and retention of staff, including chairing interview panels. Ensure that Workforce policies and management standards are adhered to. Deliver difficult and challenging conversations and management meetings, as required, to ensure management processes and standards are adhered to. Manage and support the Trust Energy Manager (band 7) Ensure budgets remain on target and engineering services are managed and maintained to maximise efficiency and help reduce energy usage and carbon emissions. Prepare reports, efficiency schemes and business cases to help drive the Sustainability agenda from an estates perspective. Ensure staff are appropriately trained and that training remains in date. Accountability for the budget and financial performance of both Engineering and Energy revenue budgets and any delegated Capital Schemes. Develop Trust policies relating to the Management of key services and equipment. Deputise for the Assistant Director of Estates when required.

Beauty Merchandiser – Flexible

Updating and re-sequencing make up stands in major high street retailers, working with leading brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Nyx Professional Make Up, Max Factor, Rimmel and Maybelline.

Momentum Instore have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Beauty Merchandiser on a flexible basis, working 8-hour days Monday to Friday as and when we have projects (2025).

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and using detailed planograms to update the stand (attention to detail)
Moving and installing new parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals/graphics
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.

The nuclear industry is enjoying significant growth and investment, and therefore we are expanding our Human Factors team to meet the resulting demand. We are looking for Junior, Senior and Principal Human Factors Assessors to help NNL deliver a diverse portfolio of projects working at the forefront of science.

As a member of the Human Factors team, you will work in multi-disciplinary teams to define, implement, test, and justify the role operator in high hazard environments.

For all roles we require, as a minimum, you to have the ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years' worth of UK residency).

The ideal Junior Human Factors Assessor should also have:

• Effective Communication Skills: You may interact with a range of stakeholders so clear concise communication is important. Whether it is explaining a point, presenting your findings, or writing reports your verbal and written skills will be important.
• Critical Thinking: You will be able to identify safety critical tasks and have a keen eye for detail to ensure they are optimised for human reliability.
• Self-Motivation: You be able to plan your diary / manage your own workload - the ideal candidate will be able to plan their work effectively so they can deliver to cost, quality and schedule.
• Previous Human Factors experience: While experience in a high hazard environment is ideal it is not a prerequisite, and we would welcome interest from Human Factors Assessors from other industries and those willing to develop new skills.

The ideal Senior or Principal Human Factors Assessor should also have:

• Great Communication Skills: You will meet a diverse range of stakeholders so you will be able to articulate compelling arguments, both verbally and in a written format, to people at all levels of the business.
• Critical Thinking: You will routinely apply systematic analytical techniques to direct the work that you or others do. You can be proportionate and apply pragmatism where required.
• Safety Management: You will work closely with specialist safety assessors so you will understand how radiological, chemotoxic and criticality safety cases are developed and implemented. You will support them to define appropriate human-based protections.
• Self-Motivation: You can work proactively and support others to do so. You will enjoy developing a folder of evidence to demonstrate that Human Factors has been appropriately integrated. You can maintain control over costs, delivery, and schedule.
• Developing Others: You will enjoy mentoring and developing junior members of the team.
• Expertise in Human Factors: You will have significant experience deploying Human Factors tools and techniques in other high hazard industries. You will have a good working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industrial standards. For Principal roles you should ideally have a national or international presence or reputation.
