We are looking for an outstanding Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for making a difference to others.
The successful applicant will be working on a Full time- (40 Hours a week) basis leading the on site Housekeeping team at Cygnet Kenney House.
Cygnet Kenney House is our purpose built, Flagship Acute/PICU & Mental health rehabilitation service located in Oldham.
Developed in collaboration with the NHS to with the aim to support women from the North West to be treated closer to home. There will be three wards at Cygnet Kenney House;
The PICU and Acute environments will offer rapid access to care, supporting women to move quickly and safely through to the most appropriate and least restrictive setting.
The mental health rehabilitation and recovery ward (level 2) will support individuals moving on from the Acute ward, as well as external referrals from other services such as secure, CAMHS, prison services and more.

Your day-to-day…
- Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
- Involvement in creating and maintaining cleaning regimes - daily, weekly, periodically etc. for the Hospital.
- To supervise and guide domestic staff team, ensuring all areas of the hospital are cleaned on a daily basis.
- Liaise with the Hospital Manager/supplier when ordering cleaning products, report on their effectiveness as well as undertaking monthly stock checks and ensuring safe storage.
- Undertake any necessary training including COSHH/Mandatory training etc.
- Comply with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations

You are...
- Experienced in a team leader/supervisor role.
- Previous experience in a Care/Hospital setting
- Experienced in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic work.
- Knowledgeable of COSHH.
- Friendly, conscientious & have a positive attitude
- A good communicator
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
