What does a live-in carer do?
As a professional live-in carer in the South West of England, you’ll provide personalised care that enables clients to stay in their own homes. We offer flexible rota patterns to help you balance work and personal life, and we welcome carers with at least six months of professional experience. You’ll stay with your client during your chosen rota pattern, caring for one person (or sometimes a couple) and following a tailored care plan. Duties include daily activities, personal care, condition management, and household tasks. You’ll typically work an average of 8–10 hours per day, with daily rates based on hours worked.

About you:
You’ll be someone who’s happy to talk, laugh and enjoy time with our clients, assisting them in their activities and encouraging them to live life to the full.
You might already be working as a live-in care assistant, or you might have professional experience as a support worker, care assistant in a residential or domiciliary care setting, or you might be a HCA working with the NHS. If you share our passion for quality care, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
- At least 6 months’ professional care experience gained in any care setting

• To meet and greet visitors to the department
• Ensure information from the waiting list proforma is entered in to the Care Records System
• Book patients on the Waiting lists in order of clinical priority and chronological order
• Contact the patients via phone as necessary
• Identify when lists are over/ under booked to Macmillan Senior Sister
• Prepare and communicate final lists to all Clinical area
• Monitor and review planned lists.
• Book patients in advance for pre chemo assessment

Senior IT Developer

Band: 7 £46,148 - £52,809 Per annum

The IT Department at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic, ever-developing, forward-thinking group of people that make up a team that strives to keep the Trust’s systems up to date and responsive to cutting edge technologies, whilst ensuring staff at the Trust are supported to continue to deliver at the highest level. We currently have an opening for a Senior IT Developer to be a part of the Trust’s small but critical development team, focusing on delivering both high quality and reliable business as usual applications and new systems that the Trust requires.

The successful post holder will have extensive experience in development languages (preferably C#, MVC, JavaScript, Angular, Blazor) and have experience working in a healthcare environment.

It would be an advantage to also have experience using Azure, Git, Visual Studio and to have previous experience mentoring other team members.

Any knowledge with Azure cloud services would also be beneficial for this role.

Develop and maintain applications and databases that may require the use of complex programming tools as instructed and guided by the IT Development Manager.

Development

Requires a very good working knowledge of object-oriented programming and must be fully conversant and have practical development experience using the standard toolsets available to the development team.

The post holder will be expected to develop applications which may involve the use of various development tools and may require complex algorithms and database designs. The post holder will need to understand and must be able to implement efficient data structures and optimise data search and retrieval methods.

Planning

Communicate any planned system downtime of IT applications developed by the IT development team to affected users.

Under the guidance and direction of the IT Integration and Development Manager create comprehensive testing and training materials prior to any supported application being placed into service.

Join our Logistics Administration Team!

Pay - Starting rate of £12 Per Hour

• The role is full-time (37 hour per week)
• The role is based at our Cranfield site, you will be required on site 5 days per week

We are looking for a positive, flexible, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Logistics Administrator supporting our client at their Cranfield Site. The role will involve looking after import and export of items (car parts) in and out of the UK- therefore someone with experience in this area is preferred.

Main responsibilities of the role:

• Own the administration process for parts to and from our site to include delivery requests, supplier shipments, invoicing
• Learn our client's systems required to fulfil the role.
• Ensure a smooth and timely process for goods in and out, including prioritising urgent requests as necessary.
• Liaise with test groups to ensure parts are ready for dispatch and track progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track performance of parts logistics and provide clear reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost and capture knowledge.
• General administration duties for the test team such as ordering uniform, ordering general supplies, updating the organisation chart and minutes notation.
• Demonstrate that part logistics are being managed in accordance with the section KPI's.
• Ensure a strong relationship with service providers is maintained.
• Always provide excellent customer service to support projects.

Requirements:

• Ideally a strong background in logistics or a desire to train and own this area of our client's business.
• Experience and/or knowledge of moving parts across borders is preferred but not essential.
• Experience of a busy office environment.
• 3+ years administration background.
• Ideally educated to a good GCSE level with grade 4 or above in English and Math's.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail as you have to remember small car part numbers
• A positive 'can do' flexible attitude.
• Be able to manage and prioritise own workload.
• A good working knowledge of the Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) for report writing and presentation preparation.
